Which Pip lancet size should I choose, and will it hurt?

Blue: 30G x 1.0mm for softer skin. Purple: 30G x 1.6mm for typical skin. Orange: 28G x 1.8mm for thicker skin. Pip safety lancets are designed for comfort; the sensation varies by person. Check the gauge and depth before ordering.

Do I need a lancing device, and how do I use and dispose of a lancet?

No separate device is needed. Twist the white cap 360 degrees off, press onto your fingertip, then apply blood to your strip. Use once; place in a sharps disposal container after use. Follow the supplied instructions and local disposal rules.

How much blood does the Pip V1 meter need?

The Pip V1 Blood Glucose Monitor uses a 0.8 microliter blood sample and displays results in 6 seconds. Blood sample requirements vary by meter; follow your meter instructions.

What comes in a Pip V1 monitor kit?

Kit contents depend on the selected configuration. The 50-count kit includes 50 strips and 60 safety lancets. The 100-count kit includes 100 strips and 100 lancets. Check the selected kit listing for its meter, control solution and carry cases.

Does a test strip and lancet refill bundle include a meter?

No. A refill bundle replenishes test strips and lancets for an existing Pip V1 meter. Pip V1 test strips work exclusively with the Pip V1 Blood Glucose Monitor. Check the selected bundle for its quantities.
