Comfortable but flawed
I purchased this help with a case of bad plantar fasciitis. This is a very comfortable splint. The most comfortable splint I've ever used. But flawed. Pro and Cons below.Pros: It's really comfortable and a bit bulky. I didn't mind the extra bulk because the splint is mostly soft material and very light. So you won't feel as though your foot is weighted down while wearing it. Many other splints are tight or often get tighter overnight waking you up and forcing you to want to rip if off immediately. But this one was very comfortable. I tried it for several days in a row while wearing a very long sock (in case the splint didn't work for me I didn't want to dirty it up). I never woke up in the middle of the night feeling as if I needed to remove it or adjust it.Cons: It doesn't provide any/enough dorsiflexion that moves your foot toward your shin (inward). This is what ultimately helps plantar fasciitis heal. Other splints have velcro straps that help with this. This particular splint doesn't and would be perfect if it did. Unfortunately this is why I had to return it. A good splint is/should be comfortable and allow you to feel reduced pain from plantar fasciitis with your first steps out of bed in the morning. For me, my first steps in the morning after using this were not improved. It was as if I hadn't even worn the splint overnight. After four days of this I had to return it.Final Thoughts: If Procare added an adjustable dorsiflexion strap that connects under the toes/front to the top of the splint on the shin so you could full the foot inward a bit this would be perfect. Hopefully they can add that in the future. I buy it again if it had that.

This is my 3rd brace and is the most comfortable I have worn
This is my 3rd brace and is the most comfortable I have worn. My last brace broke when worn while limited walking around the house. This is made a whole lot better and has a thick padding for comfort.
