Sandbaggers Galia Women's Golf Sandals

I find found the shoes to be comfortable, they fit well and they have some arch support which is lacking in most golf sandals. However, if you want to wear them for golfing, there's a problem. When you swing your club, during your follow through, the Velcro unfastens. I tried over and over again to get them to stay put but they wouldn't. I cleaned them up and returned the first pair. The second pair did the same thing, I was very disappointed. Because they were so comfortable, I took them to a shoe repair shop and had them put on stronger Velcro and they work fine now. When I returned the first pair, I put a note in the box that they were defective, I hope Sandbaggers get the message. The fix is simple.

There are a lot of things to like about the is golfing sandal. I like that the straps are easily adjustable and that the velcro hangs on even with all the walking and twisting associated with golf. The straps are a dainty-ish width while still maintaining function. The colors are rather flattering and relatively neutral to go with many outfits. I have rather wide feet with sort of short toes. In sandals I am usually a size 5. These sandals fit! Well, at least fit as best as any sandal does. My feet, what I call "islander feet," are so wide that in sandals my pinky toes usually hangs off. The straps in these sandals lay in such a way that while my pinky toes did that, the straps hid and secured them mostly in place, while also not pinching my foot. I imagine those with normal, or even narrower, feet could still wear this with the straps being adjustable. Through my driving range and 9-hole round of golf the traps and width were comfy. The arch support was comfy and I like the spring that the rubber sole provided as I walked. I've only worn these shoes once. I wish I could wear them again. The deal breaker is fabric of the footbed. I wish it was made of leather, pleather, microsuede or some other fabric. I hated the way the fabric of these sandals rubbed against the soles of my feet. I think leather, microsuede or something else would have made me fall in love with these shoes. My feet don't sweat much. Maybe someone else with with sweatier feet would like this. For me, it made my already dry skin more dry and well, the sensation was a dealbreaker.

Love these golf sandals because my feet are no longer solid white from being in shoes. They are comfortable, are easy to adjust, and the footbed provides good support. I bought the light gray pair because they go with everything. Totally satisfied!

I tried these at the end of golf season so haven't had time to truly test them. I wore them a few times and they held up nicely; in fact, I didn't even think about them being sandals instead of my regular golf shoes . . . except for one minor small design flaw and that's where the little toe can slip out from under the strap. My toes are long and a couple of times I slid my foot forward to slide the toe further under the strap. Hope they fix the flaw because I really like the sandals so much that I'll wear them anyway; however, I won't buy another pair unless the flaw is fixed.

Very comfortable and still adequate support for 18 holes. Great for older feet like mine as they allow some swelling without causing pain. They look very good also!

These are the most comfortable and stylish golf sandals/shoes I have ever worn. They are cool to the foot, you don't hardly even know you're wearing them, I didn't need to break them in, and they look more like a fashion sandal and not a golf sandal. I love the adjustable straps to fit perfectly. I would say if anything, they run slightly big. I normally wear a 6.5 and I read a previous review and saw someone posted the 6 wears more like a 7. So that's what I ordered and and they are perfect. I have also won over a couple of friends as well. I wish I would have found these a couple of years ago instead of the sandal golf shoes I ordered a year ago.

Finally a company has made some comfortable, practical but cute golf shoes for women. These are very supportive in the foot bed and secure well. Comfortable to wear for a slow 18 holes. They look good and are quite stylish. Excellent!
