Very helpful! Bought this so I could have some help with my 80 year old dad who has trouble getting around and out of his chair. He’s 200lbs and I’m 123 pounds so sufficed to say it’s difficult for me to help him. This cool device helps me use my core and also helps him lift himself as well. It seriously works!!! If you’re a caregiver this is definitely a game-changer! Highly recommend.

Appears to be a quality product. Nicely packaged. Should work great for stand assist. I assume it is as large as it is so that arms can be at body width for added stability. Size is fine for around the house. Since I wanted it for use while traveling, I will look for something smaller as this size would be cumbersome to tote around. It is made of a hard, smooth plastic. There are small indentations to add grip, but we find they really do very little. We don't feel that we need added grip at this point, as we have adequate hand strength to hold firmly. We like that there are no sharp edges or ridges anywhere- nice and smooth all over. Good product.

I can’t express how truly grateful I am for the patient lifting device designed for the elderly. This product has truly been a game-changer in caregiving. My mom holds one side, I hold the other and easy peasy! She’s up! She said she feels like she’s on a ski lift 😂 and my back is no longer killing me!! What a Godsend! It’s easy to use, provides excellent support, and ensures the safety of both the caregiver and the patient. Investing in this device, has made a significant positive impact on the overall well-being and comfort of my elderly loved one. I’m so impressed and the price you just can’t beat! Highly recommend it! Get it! You can always just return if it doesn’t work for you, but I highly think it will😊 Edit to 12/24 On December 24, about a year later, we bought two more of these devices. They’ve been a real game-changer. My mom had a fall, and this thing has been a lifesaver for her getting up. She weighs about 225 pounds, and I weigh 185, so it was tough for me to lift her on my own. But with this device, I can give her all the support she needs to get up. I’m so grateful for this amazing invention!

Product nice but wasn't able to use it. Sister n law wasn't strong enough to be able to use it

This lift assist has been so helpful with assisting my spouse to stand when needed. Due to arthritis in my hand, it's too painful when he grips my hand directly. I recommend.

It is a secure way to hold on for lifting support. Easy and reliable way to consistently have a secure grip without slipping.

If the patient is too weak to stand, they are too weak to hold on! I threw it away

I wasn't sure about it to start with, but having been taught the proper way to get hubby off the sofa without breaking my back by his physio, this lift assist has been brilliant. So simple but really good. EDIT. The only gripe I would have with it it's not really portable. It certainly doesn't fit in my handbag (or purse as the spec says). Can you please develop a foldable version then we can take it everywhere.

Excellent gadget. I am disabled and I can get my husband up from his kitchen chair with no problems. So much cheaper than the one advertised on Facebook.
