Works great, most dogs love it, and it is cheaper then competition
My dogs seem to really like these. They are a very hard product. So it does actually give them an entertaining way eat this. Plus I think it helps a little with their teeth. I’ve read that hard to chew products do help give a little extra cleaning for a dogs teeth. If that’s true, it’s just an extra to using this product over other anal gland type products. The only bad thing I did find is that one of my older dogs finds them too difficult to chew. So regardless if the fact that he wants to chew on it, he can’t bite down hard enough. So he spits them out. He is the only exception to any issues with this anal gland type product. As for the cost, they do run a little less expensive then other similar products. For my dogs it saves me money. I have a 60 pound dog that only needs two of these based on her weight. But with the leading competition, that same dog needs 3 of their product. My only note is if you had a dog under 10 pounds, a whole one might seem like too much. I would probably have to observe to see if it caused any issues like supper soft stools. Please know that I find the product too be too difficult to break in half with my hands. You possibly could cut it in half with a knife. But I’ve not tried it so I don’t know if it’s possible. Bottomline: it’s a great product for my dogs.

This product is AWESOME! Don't run out!
Okay so I'm writing this at 3 am because my dogs nasty anal glands just exponged themselves all over my bed and that nasty smell woke me up. Sheets are all changed and her anal glands are clear, so why am I telling you about this smelly experience of mine? I bought these scoot bars along with the glandex powder and RAN OUT about a week ago! I ordered more a little late and they be here tomorrow. Thank goodness! My point is that these products WORK! They don't eliminate the built up fluid in the anal glands but make your life less smelly. Instead of emptying them weekly without the product ( or they freaking leak all over the place like tonight! Grr!) with the scoot bars AND the glandex powder, it's about once a month. It's fabulous! We have a 1 1/2 year old chocolate lab. She is our little fur baby but she's had gland problems since she was a wee tiny puppy. I had always thought we couldn't do anything about it short of having them removed ($$$ ya know). Then I found these bars and the glandex and WOW what a difference. Definitely worth every penny after tonight's smelly wake up!

My dog likes them
My dog normally gets an anti-scoot treat every night. He knows, and he looks forward to it, and will even try to bump up the schedule. We ran out of these and have another product that cost less and will last longer, but I know my dog really prefers these Pet Naturals, so when the time is right I plan to order more for him. The product seems to take a few days to work for him - like it has a cumulative effect. But if he likes it and it works, that's all I need to know. As for the smell of them....I can honestly say I've never held one up to my nose. Dogs like really nasty smelling stuff and will even roll in any nasty smelling stuff they find, so I can't judge the smell for my dog. Whatever it smells like, he likes it.

Great product!
I rarely leave reviews, but I loved these. Back story: Our 55 pound Golden mix has had trouble with his anal glands for over a year. We go to the vet every 3 weeks to have them expressed and get a check-up. We've tried changing his diet, natural supplements, prescriptions... you name it. We settled on changing his food over to a higher fiber content, and adding in the No Scoot Chew Tabs a few months ago. With those changes his glads were still full every 3 weeks, but they weren't getting regular infections/impacted. How this product helped: A few weeks ago, I bought these on a whim (thought, it can't hurt!) and he loved them. He thinks they're great treats! So, we were giving 2 a day for about the last two weeks, and he was pooing more and seemed to feel better! The best part? When we went to see the vet for our regular 3 week anal gland check up... His glands were only 1/2 full!! We don't have to go back for a whole 6 weeks now! Whoo! I've never been so excited about dog poo in my life. Downside: I really like my vet and his secretary. I'll miss our monthly encounters.

Dog loves the taste but not sure it helps scooting
My dog loves the taste, it’s a high value treat. Not sure it stops scooting, he still does from time to time (doesn’t replace anal gland expression). Sometimes he’s sensitive to it if he eats one after his dinner for the night, so I give it to him before he has dinner.

Change of ingredients??
These worked great for the first 70 times I purchased them for my dog. Now she won't eat them. She's a very picky eater so I suspect they changed the ingredients.

The undesired behavior stopped!
We bought this product because our dog was chewing his butt constantly. I don't know what is worse, a dog that scoots or a dog that tries to chew his way to clearing his anal glands. In any case, the undesired behavior has stopped. We give our dog a scoot bar pretty much once a day. We believe the scootbars might have increased the frequency with which he goes, but that is by no means scientific. Our dog definitely sees getting a scoot bar as a treat so I suspect they are tasty (for a dog). I suppose they will be pricey if we look at how much we spend over a lifetime, but on a daily basis it's about 50 cents a day and I figure that is just part of the cost of owning a dog. Our hope was to have his glands clear without manually clearing them, and the scoot bars seem to do the trick. We will be life time users of this product because it works.

No More Skidmarks..WooHoo!
These Scoot Bars have been a godsend. One of furry daughters is over 100 lbs and started having anal gland issues. Since she has seizures at the vet, that option was out, even though the vet has offered to make house calls, it would be kind of costly for something like this. I even watched a few videos on YouTube, showing how to express the anal glands. I put on my gloves and attempted to express the glands, but it didn't work. She looked at me as if to say "Mommy, that area is an outty, not an inny. You can only imagine the skid marks a pooch this size can leave on the carpet. I was tired of constantly having to use carpet spot removers, so I did some research on Amazon and found this scoot bars. We have to give her 4-5 scoot bars to do the job and when we give her 3 or less, she scoots again. The bars are a bit costly using on a pooch this size, but it's worth it. We don't have to use our flashlights in the middle of the night to avoid a nice fresh skidmark our sweet girl has left behind.
