The write up states 7000mah but the product is labeled 6330mah. The old battery (not OEM, btw) is labeled 6600mah. Time will tell about this oneA teaspoon of acetone at the edge of each battery cell will help the soften the grip of the adhesive. Use a stiff piece of plastic like a credit card to wedge the battery up.

I get that sending you screw drivers give the sense of great value, but when you find out they are 100% useless, then you feel ripped off. This is the second battery I buy with the same issue. Those tools are not free, the price reflects it. Now I have to throw them away, creating more garbage. The other problem I found is the tinny rubber grommets that go on the battery holders are missing, transferring them over from the original battery is a pain in the backside. In the end the batteries are OK so far but the company should either not include the useless tools and lower the price or give you good working tools.

2015 13" MacBook Pro After 5 years of use my MacBook Pro wouldn't last more than a few hours off of the charger. After seeing the price of a replacement from apple I thought I would look on amazon. After being initially skeptical, I'm happy to say this battery has breathed some new life back into my MacBook. Im a student and so being able to carry my laptop around is very important and now I'm not constantly looking for an outlet. Overall very happy. Installing the battery yourself does require some know how but there are a ton of YouTube videos out there. This even comes with the tools you need to do the install.

Battery worked out fine ,but driver set didn’t ,they offered to send the right driver set.But I decided to order a full set .to make sure I had the right ones . Installation was pretty easy ,just make sure you know what screws come out where . And the driver set I bought separately had the plastic (like credit cards) that you need to get under battery after you use solvent ,to help pry up battery . I’m happy and battery holds a charge for 8 hrs plus even watching videos

Installed for late 2013 MBP. The battery is quite good.Removing the old battery was the hardest part. ifixit procedure explained most of the process. I used a random membership card that dipped into an acetone solution which I also bought from amazon ($3 nail polish remover) to dissolve the glues. The whole process took me 1 hour.

I had this installed in my MacBook Pro for a few weeks, and it had been working fine. I installed it very carefully and gently, and the laptop was never abused.This morning, while sleeping, I woke to a strange burning smell. I was looking around the room to see what was causing it. I went to pick up the MacBook, and it was scorching hot: Hot enough to burn my finger. Using a towel, I brought it outside so that it wouldn’t set fire to the room, and so the smell would be outside.My laptop is now mostly ruined. The display is distorted from the heat, and some of the keys on the keyboard don’t function properly anymore. Even the carpet where it was sitting is visibly scorched.The laptop wasn’t even charging at the time. It was just sitting with the lid closed, and hadn’t been touched for several hours. It could have easily been much worse, had it set fire to the carpet while I was sleeping. While I’m lucky that nobody was hurt, I wish I had never bought this battery.

It was fairly easy to install after watching it done on YouTube. It is straight forward and if you are careful everything is finished in less than 3o minutes. I have noticed the increase in battery life. Worth the price and effort to change the battery.

Super easy to install, MacBook battery would only stay charge for 5 mins before swapping the battery out for this one. I was hesitant at first because I thought it would be hard to do, but it was easy and now the MacBook is as good as new!

Bought this battery as mine was inflated , it’s a 2015 laptop so ordered this battery, when fitted the laptop wouldn’t recognise the battery, nothing. So fitted the old inflated battery that worked just 45 mins earlier and that wouldn’t work. Took laptop the technician and he fitted new apple battery and now the keyboard, trackpad and fans don’t work, technician says something on the battery has blown the data chip on the smc. The company that make this battery won’t do anything and Amazon won’t because I didn’t buy the laptop from them. So Amazon are happy to sell dodgy batteries and don’t do anything if it damages your laptop! I’m done with Amazon! Very disappointed! Please avoid!🤬

Perfect for the price but wish the package comes with adhesive remover. Otherwise it is good for the price and the battery life until today is good. The gloves that comes in the package were not good and they ripped easily. So make sure you have your own spare pair of gloves.

I wanted to give my laptop a new battery and ended up with one that is older than the laptop itself!Despite the low cycle count, it continuously drains power even when the laptop is asleep. I've disabled all features that user power when asleep, but it still happens. Can't wait to see what it is like in a few months time.Waste of time and money. Do not buy.

Excellent service from this company. The only downside was the length of time it took to install the battery due to the difficulty in removing the adhesive holding the old battery in place.
