Display Touch Screen (AMOLED) Digitizer Assembly with Frame for Samsung Galaxy S4 (SIV) SCH- I545 / SPH- L720 / SCH- R970 (for Mobile Phone Repair Part Replacement)(Free Repair Tool Kits) (Black Mist) I would start by saying that I work with small electronics very often and have repaired dozens of phones, both for personal reasons and client phones for business. This was roughly the 5th or 6th time replacing an LCD and digitizer on a Samsung Galaxy S4. The particular model this time was the Sprint variant (SPH-L720).I spent the extra money on this screen expecting a superior product to the others I have purchased in the past. Initially everything was looking great, much better packaging, an acceptable tool kit, the addition of a midframe and screen protector. Then I started looking more closely! I will point out only the major flaws.1. The supplied midframe was specific to the Verizon Galaxy S4. The GPS antenna attached (plastic soldered) to the midframe was specifically labeled "VZ" and only had one connector pad to make contact to the logic/main/mother board as opposed to the two that the Sprint version required. So I had to reuse the old midframe that was not in the best of shape.2. On the back side of the LCD, quite a few of the heat dissipating pads that are pictured on Amazon were actually not included at all. I had to attempt to carefully peel and reuse the old ones from my old broken LCD.3. Again on the back side of the LCD where the logic/main/mother board sits, the PCB gasket shown in the pictures on Amazon was not supplied at all and was impossible to cleanly reuse from my old broken assembly. This caused the entire logic board to sit slightly lower than it should. Due to the logic board now being seated in this lower position, when the phone was reassembled both the WiFi and GPS signals were absolutely junk because the spring contacts were not making contact with the midframe contact pads on the respective antennas. I had to disassemble the entire phone again and add aluminum foil pads/wads in order to complete the connections. They now work, but the signals are still VERY weak.I have a "functioning" phone that will get me by until it is upgraded, but I'm definitely not a satisfied customer.One other thing worth mentioning is that I didn't run into the same problem some of the other reviews mentioned with the LCD ribbon cable being slightly too short or in the wrong position. The one I received was perfect in that regard.

Swapping out a cracked LCD display was easy with this replacement. Followed instructions from online videos. I would recommend using a different tool kit that contains better quality screwdrivers and picks, like the iFixIt $20 tool kit. The screwdrivers included in this package started to destroy the heads of the screws of the phone and the pick was made of soft plastic that deformed when prying the glass and frame apart.Only difference noted between this assembly and the OEM from the original phone was that the display plug is about .5mm offset, which was remedied. Also, the soft buttons have the designs visible on the display when powered off. Otherwise, seems like it will serve as a replacement.Be careful with disassembly of the old phone display assembly and this job is very easy.Will update if any issues occur with new display.

I was skeptical going into this since I had never done a repair like this before and there are mixed reviews out there for pretty much every type of screen replacement parts out there. I made sure I ordered the part for the right model of phone I had (make sure you are looking at the part number (mine was a sch-i545 for example) and not just any galaxy s4 part). I checked out what arrived in the box and it was the right parts and they were identical to the original phone. Going with the screen/digitizer/glass assembly makes this repair super easy, all it is is popping apart some plastic pieces and taking out 13 Philips head screws. youtube is an actual resource when it comes to doing these repairs, you can easily find multiple walkthroughs for your device. If you have any experiance at all tinkering with things you should not have a problem replacing this assembly. Its been working as advertised for a half day now, we'll see if it lasts, no reason to believe it should not perform like the original.

My Galaxy M919 feels almost brand new, only thing missing is the battery cover to make it complete. But over all it’s a good buy. For persons interested in this product, during the installation you will need to transfer some of the components to the new screen. While removing the components from the old screen be careful, I ended up damaging my front facing camera and now I have to replace it, good thing is it only cost 3-4 dollars so I’m not so upset about it, but as I said before it’s a good buy, just need the battery cover to make it complete.

This was probably the best screen replacement kit i have bought for that Samsung Galaxy S4. I was able to install quickly, and was able to turn that phone on finally and access some of my old photos from when i was in the military. A great purchase, definitely recommend for someone who has a broken s4 from At&t.

Package arrived and it took me about 90 mins to open up my phone and replace the new parts taking it very slowly to ensure no missed steps but the middle case wasn't the same as the original and looked to be missing the speaker system at the bottom so I ended putting the old middle back on. Once powered up it appears to be working perfectly although a little warm at the top near the main camera. Will continue to monitor. Colors and all buttons working correctly.

The parts arrived quickly and once assembled worked as advertised. I will agree with other postings I saw that this one does run a little bit warmer than the originial but not enough that it has me worried. The screen also looks a bit lighter than the orginial but not enough that it is distracting. Overall I was satisified with the componets. The plastic tools could have been sturder as the edges of them chipped up really to easily in my opinion for doing work on small electronics for which they are designed to do.
