Toxic relationship
I had a hard time with this series... I only ended up reading 2 of the books. The relationship between the two main characters is so toxic. Every other page they are fighting followed immediately by makeup sex. I can't speak for others but I am over the books where women are treated poorly but accept it because they're so in love and "he's just so sexy"

Ok book hard to actually like the heroine
I’m in the middle of the second book I wish authors would write books how real women thinks and act .its so hard for me to actually like the heroine, because nobody act as stupid as she does ,,I’m actually wishing she dies in the story

Good story and characters, desperately needs good editing.
Interesting characters, good storyline. Way, way too much detail.. I skipped pages and pages and pages of monotonous detail about what everyone is wearing, what the rooms looked like, etc.For those of you that are like me and find typos, bad grammar, repetitive phrases and words incredibly distracting, then I would not recommend this series. I started highlighting and noting the typos, misspellings, mis-worded phrases, etc as I went on my Kindle and there were a LOT of notes at the end. The story holes and changing details throughout are very distracting.Just a side note for the author: A "few" means 4, 5, 6... not 1 or 2. Also, while I understand that Keira is from England and uses appropriate speech patterns and slang, most of the other characters are not, so they should be using American phrases. Example: An American does not call someone's action "brilliant", they would say "awesome."These books are not complete stories. Every one ends abruptly without any conclusion, just a cliffhanger for the next "book".I also felt like the series ended very suddenly, without even trying to close out several side story lines that you follow through several books. Lucius? Ari and Vincent? RJ and Seth? Jack? And more that I won't mention for spoilers. I felt cheated at the end honestly. An obvious ploy to try to force readers to purchase additional series for closure on these storylines.I cannot remember ever leaving a bad book review, not to say I've never read a bad book, I just generally wouldn't bother. However I feel like these books could have been really good, but they needed a lot of refining before they were published.

Good to bad
I loved the beginning. Then about half way through. I didn't like The rest of it. Should of left Dominic and Keira alone. And ended on a good note.

Afterlife books 1 to 4
Wow just Wow !!! Please please please let the next 8 books be the AWESOME !! I have read so many books throughout my 61 years & after a time storylines ,plots ,dialogue ,characters descriptions of people places & things start to blend from one to another but , these pages grab your attention with all the above written from a fresh mindset from a different way of looking at things even . I loved the fact that this author isn’t conforming to the norm !Read her work & see new ideas being brought to light , see her imagination as she describes each character in vivid detail , no coping from what our minds conjure when we think Good & Evil , Demons or Angels , read a see a fresh new way of looking at old ideas ! Thank you for a wonder reading experience.

Compelling and addictive series.
Compelling and addictive series! Hudson creates such a creative paranormal world with reinterpretations of classic mythology with a little twist. This series has everything, romance, suspense and epic battles. And if you think you have read everything about vamps and supernatural baddies you should check out Hudson's unique take on these creatures.Seriously can't put these books down! I bought the whole series after reading halfway through the first book!

Awesome!
This box set of four is the best start to a series ever. I laughed and even cried throughout the entire 60 hours and want MORE. Thankfully there is more. The detail is incredible, the characters are so flawed and realistic. It's a major rollercoaster ride. Amazing! Love it!

A must read!
I didn't know what to expect when I first started reading this series as I had never heard of the author. Boy, oh boy I have definitely fallen in love with her books.I love her descriptive writing and attention to detail. I was totally drawn into the story and I devoured these first four books in the series in a matter of days! This is a story of Keira and Draven’s relationship and you better hold on tight because it is an emotional rollercoaster of a ride! It is written from the female lead character Keira’s POV which I really enjoyed. She gets into lots of trouble and has to deal with some very hot badass alpha males along the way including Angels and Demons to a Vampire King! I can’t wait to see how the story continues.

A great read, but better not to start reading too late !
I wasn’t sure about this set of books as I thought the heroine might have been too young - but I have really enjoyed the read. From great characters to interesting story I have been eagerly reading whenever I had the chance. It is now 2.57 am and I am reading book 4, I suspect this will be an all nighter, next box sets all bought and ready. Highly recommended if you like demons, angels, imps, vampires and a few others with a balance of action and romance and of course the main character who is human.!

I don’t even know where to start
I have never before found a book or book series that has done to me what this has. I love a fantasy/methodical/supernatural theme but this series has touched me in a way no other book in my life has. I found myself losing hours reading, funding any time I could to pick this up. Imagine your favourite ever tv series and that pull of having to watch it, this is it in book form. The author writes in a way that you fall in love, for different reasons, with every character in this book. I found myself shouting out at parts, muttering sarcastic remarks, and at one point crying, which I hasten to add has never happened with a book. I can honestly say ive never been pulled into a book, by its writing style or by its story as much as I have this. It will have you ‘wtf’ing’ as you turn the pages, that might just be me but the way the story is written, it’s a mix of old age knowledge mixed in with new age methology. It’s honestly amazing how she pulls everyone’s stories together. I’m struggling to write what I want for fear of giving anything from the books away because I was blown away, honestly. You will be too. Don’t give this a skip, it’s one you’ll remember for a long long time.

Only paused reading when finally needed to sleep!
Which was sometimes at 6 am the next morning when I ended up not being able to read anymore. I absolutely loved the fiesty Keria and brooding alpha male Draven, and the sparks that fly, but more than that was the depth of character that is portrayed and obstacles that our heroine has overcome. I love the fact that they are lengthy as I am a fast reader and often become frustrated with books I finish in a couple of hours.I have already purchased the next boxset, to read tonight and I know that it's likely that I will purchase all the others in Stephanie Hudson's Afterlife world. Can't wait to find Lucius meet his soulmate!!
