A very, very efficient fridge on its default setting of 3 Deg,although you can, of course, set it to whatever temperature you like. There are three shelves above two very generous drawers which we use to store almost all our fruit and veg.It comes with spare parts for swapping the door hinges from right to left and then annoyingly mentions that if you do, you will invalidate the guarantee ! I decided to wait until it expired (2 years) and then do it.There are one or two little annoyances. The door shelves are not adjustable but it's such a big door that it doesn't really matter. Both doors have a stiff self closing mechanism which is very easy to leave open, but it does beep at you if you do. The colour is darker than I thought it would be which makes it looks like a metallic slab lurking in your kitchen. The mains cable is short and originates from the very TOP of the unit. You really need an electric socket directly behind your fridge freezer to avoid an untidy cable draping diagonally across the wall.The freezer is just big enough for your immediate needs. A family would probably need another one somewhere else, especially if they relied on frozen meals. We tend to cook extra portions and freeze the surplus for later and it's just fine for that purpose.We've had this unit for few months now and came to it from a small under the worktop fridge. Having all your chilled stuff visible at eye level is a joy. I love the thing to bits and would not go back for anything.It is very quiet

I Bought this model in 2018 one month after warranty ended compressor and evaporator failed diagnosed by LG0800 REPAIRS .After three attempts of repair deemed beyond economical repair so repair fee recovered unit nowscrap as compressor threw oil into system when failing blocking system Please see successful American class action bought against LG ,before considering purchase of any LG Linear compressor appliance
