This is my first drone. I found it very easy to set up and fly it, it is very intuitive and the App is great. The photos are pretty good quality as well.I received my D80 about two weeks ago and just two days ago, it was flying normally for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden it went into a high speed dive and crashed pretty hard into my pool deck and then bounced into the pool. It had been properly calibrated so we are not sure what happened. I contacted Potensic customer service and had a response within 12 hours, they would accept a return and refund or a replacement. They weren’t sure if a magnetic disturbance or a malfunction caused the problem.I was impressed by their customer service and their commitment to stand behind their product.Out of curiosity, I connected the battery to the drone (both went into my pool and the drone got damaged) and the darn thing came on with all the normal sounds and lights, the thing is built like a tank!I enjoyed flying the D80 and I had read the reviews on their earlier and more basic models and they were all great, so I decided for replacement of my D80, the quickest way was a refund and re-order so I did just that! My replacement will arrive the day after tomorrow!

The media could not be loaded. The D80 is super easy and fun to learn, very fun and comfortable to control and givin you are in a wide open area this thing will reach out at over 800 meters . If you happen to crash and burn with a tree top or the neighbors garage door u can rest easy and be assured the D80 has probably survived with nothing more than a scuff cause this thing is a tank. The pic is of my 2 D80s and that little blur behind them hovering is my A20 upgrade, I purchased a 3rd D80 but had to send it back twice and 3rd time it's gone because of the Wi-Fi and GPS dropping all the time, ive never had issues with this company and theyve always done everything they can to make the customer happy. And I'll be shopping for another after Xmas, Thanks and God bless , keep rockin awesome drones

Its an ok drone for when you first start. Feels really cheap over all.You will want to upgrade to aBetter one after a week.I don’t recommend this product

Being an older person, sometime new electronic devices can be a little daunting. I found that this drone was easy to learn and I was able to fly it pretty well the first time out. It is a lot of fun and I hope to get even better at taking pictures. One thing that was a little bit confusing was the app for my phone and the pairing with the drone.Better instructions would be a big help.

I originally got this drone and after failing to return to home and dropping in the middle of the woods, customer service sent me a replacement. We flew it exactly one time and the next time we tried to fire it up, it would not connect to the controller. We charged and tried two different batteries and replaced the batteries in the controller just in case and nothing. I contacted customer service and they refused to assist and said it's out of warranty. They told me to go buy a new one!!! WHY would I do that after two of them did not work?? Invest in a better brand with a longer warranty, at least you will get the chance to fly it more than once or twice. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I love this drone . This is the second time I have purchased this except the first time I had the white one. I flew it into a lake trying to show off . Completely my fault. I have several drones in this price range and I always say that the D80 is the most reliable out of all of them. And this one has the case with it so it's easy to carry around and not get banged up. I put it in the car no matter where I'm going because you never know when a great photo or flight opportunity will happen . It's good for the seasoned pilot as well as the beginner. It's easy to fly and its pretty fast too. Return to home has never failed me. Just get it . You won't be sorry..

The media could not be loaded. I am leaving an honest review. I do not work for Potensic. After reading some of the reviews. I bought this drone with the extra battery. I followed all the steps before flying. I flew the drone in overcast weather with moderate winds. It preformed great. I love the 2k video on the micro SD card. I tried return to home function and had no problems. I suspect some of the other reviews were their drone flew away may have been user related. I have a MJX Bugs 3 and this is my first GPS drone. I am glad I chose this drone. I really like the range as well. It is very relaxing to fly this drone compared to a non GPS drone with brush-less motors.UPDATE: I am only getting about 10 minutes of flight time. I'm not sure why it is advertised at 15-20 minutes, because I'm not getting no where near that.UPDATE: I am returning the drone. After trying out the mobile app on my Samsung Galaxy S10e. I can see the video feed, but could never get the GPS map features to work. I never could get the Follow Me feature to work which uses the GPS app feature. I modified the app permissions and it rendered the Google maps and Satellite view while testing the app in my room. The next day I wanted to try the app features and the problem reoccurred. The app will not render the Google maps view or Satellite View. Yes I have device location enabled. This means you can't plot flight path points or use Follow Me. I spent more time fighting the app then flying the drone. The drone had dismal flight times. The time I got done fighting the app I was lucky to get 5 minutes out of flying. Those things were enough for me to return the drone. 10 minutes even with the spare battery and fighting the crap mobile application is not worth $207. So I am returning this item.
