A really lovely, robust carrier with a vintage style. Handle and straps are very good and strong. Door stays buckled shut for transport - kept out little 8 week old kitten in place when we collected him and also on trip to vets. Also good is that the door folds flat along the side of the carrier so we are using it as his bed as well . He willingly goes to bed in it each night. Very happy with it 😊

Loved it, but when used it three months down the road for mother and son (cats) for visit to Vets. Friend with working Van gave me a lift to Vets. Put in Back of Van as thought was safer for them in case of accidents...got to Vets. Cats gone...i was in panic mode, they got out (which i found out later at home was through the bars) as Van was full of working tools and a water tank, found kitten male, but mother had to go home again, open all doors and find her. back to Vets...What a horrifying day, which i can sort of laugh now. My Cats are Bombays and are very skinny cats so....... beware

So disappointed by this. Obviously made to a low budget. Handle and straps are thin vinyl. Handle is attached to carrier by what are basically strong, sharp split-pin paper fasteners! The plywood back was split where the wicker was pushed into it. I place cat in, lifted the carrier, felt the strain on the handle and then released the cat - no way would I trust this arrangement.So ..... I have to pay return cost but it would cost me more to replace the cheap plastic straps and handle (with better means of attachment).I have since revised the review down to one star and show some pics of the shockingly made carrier - in fact the only good thing was the included cushion inside the carrier.

Was a bit worried about ordering on line without actually seeing the item but was more than delighted. It’s much sturdier than my old wicker carrier and looks really classy. Lots of friends with pets have asked where I got it. The fastening straps are good quality and there’s plenty of room inside for, in my case, two kittens or one very large cat. Highly recommended!

Our kitten loved it! Really nice wicker carrier with cushion. We added blankets and our kitten was very happy with it. Could be cheaper though.

This is generally a well made product but we didn’t notice that there were strands of very fine monofilament nylon attached inside. These proved irresistible to one of our 8 week old kittens who managed to ingest a length of it. It came back up easily enough but it was rather alarming. It didn’t appear to be part of the structure so may have been used in the assembly process. Check before using!
