Great creamy concealer for the price!
NYX makes GREAT concealer, especially for the price. It has a perfectly creamy consistency with buildable medium coverage. It's not watery nor is it thick. I use it to cover darkness under my eyes and any redness/spots on my face. When using this concealer, I don't feel the need to wear additional foundation. Just a little powder on top, and I'm good to go. I currently own 5 shades and I've gone through multiple tubes of each shade since I discovered this concealer a few years ago. I'll start with the shade selection, because I'm sure that's why a lot of people are reading the reviews. I have a cool skin tone and I have found 4 of the shades that I can make work for me whether I'm pale or have a tan. In my opinion, this is the breakdown of what tone each concealer is : 01 porcelain and 02 fair are neutral tones. 03 light and 05 medium are peachy cool tones. 04 beige is a warm yellow tone and 06 glow is a warm orange tone. I haven't tried the darker ones. I posted pictures of the shades I currently have plus swatches just to help out anyone who is struggling to pick a color. Keep in mind I really globbed the concealer on the paper for those swatches, but in real life the shades look much lighter once they are blended out. For the eyes, I put 3 or 4 dots of concealer a shade lighter than my skin tone, pat it around with a clean fingertip and let it dry halfway. At this point it will look cakey/not blended at all, this is fine. Once it's halfway dry, I then use a damp beauty sponge and blend it out the rest of the way. I get much better, smoother coverage when I use this technique. If you try to blend it out when it's still fully wet, you'll wipe away all the coverage. If you don't blend at all, you'll end up cakey. It's also a good idea to use a setting powder on top so it doesn't crease. For redness, I like to use a shade that is either my exact skin tone or a tad darker in combination with the green color corrector. The green seriously makes such a big difference! I mix the two shades on the back of my hand – a dab of skin tone plus the tiniest little dot of green. It will look ghostly on your hand, but once it's over top of the redness, it neutralizes it perfectly. Again, I like to let it dry a little bit before I try to do any blending. I have normal/dry skin and I'm able to get through half the day with this concealer still looking good. It does crease and wear off a bit, but it doesn't get as gross as other brands I've tried. This probably also largely depends on whether you are oil/normal/dry and what the weather is like that day though. The only con to this product is the label wears off and I think their shade selection isn't wide enough to suit every skin tone. Overall, I would definitely recommend this concealer to anyone.

Useful as a Concealer or as Make Up
This is my second purchase of this product which I purchased in 3 different shades. I use them individually or in combination depending on season. It works well for my slight under eye darkness and even to brighten the eyelid area which allows me not to need eye shadow. If I use glow or caramel I might need to include a small drop of my normal sheer makeup shade or compact shade. Then, while in the summer months, I can go with treating that area using it as a concealer and makeup with the nutmeg shade. If there is a breakout that tries to leave a slight scar or discoloration, then again it works well as a concealer or makeup to blend into my skin tone. I would not use as full makeup coverage, but I can use it in certain tiny areas that can be blended in to give a finished even tone look. I enjoy not needing to wear full coverage even though on occasions I can normally use a sheer liquid foundation. So far, I do not notice that it promotes breakouts as some other makeup used to cause. It removes easily with cream or my normal soap and water facial soap. I do not wear makeup every day with being retired, so I cannot say how it would fair on a daily basis for me, but on the several occasions within a week that I leave the house, and use it, no issues thus far. A little dab works well the coverage I require and I have not had any problem with it drying out. I could still use it somewhat as it was running low even.

Decent Coverage, But Not My Favorite
I tried this concealer in Alabaster, and the formula blends out easily with medium coverage. enough for small blemishes or under-eye circles. It feels lightweight on the skin and has no strong scent, which I appreciate. It can get a little dry if your skin isn’t well-prepped, and on days I didn’t moisturize enough, it settled into fine lines. The wand makes it easy to apply exactly where you need it. It’s good for quick touch-ups or lighter makeup days, but if you’re looking for long-lasting, full coverage, you might want something heavier-duty.

Non-Drying Formula, Mediocre Coverage, Good For a Back-Up
I'm giving it 3 stars. 1. It didn't cover too much up except maybe a little for under-eyes--it gives a boost so that I *don't* look like I haven't slept in a week. a. Before applying, my roommate was worried and said, "What's on your eye?". Nothing was on my eye. Just darkness/bags underneath and a shadow. On a positive note, after application, he said, oh wow, that looks different, did you put something on? (Gotta accept that compliment.) 2. One thing I will say is that it is more creamy and less drying than many concealers I've used that doesn't stick to every line of my young face and can't notice creasing under eyes. I have dry skin, especially under my eyes, and most products crease throughout the day. 3. It doesn't give much coverage on darker spots, like purples or blues. 4. It's rather annoying to apply because of the type of application/small wand and tubey, but still creamy. 5. I can use this as a last resort in attempt to highlight/conceal. I would say it's worth the price. May or may not return/exchange.

Perfect to brighten the eyes
A little goes a really long way. It’s a perfect eye brightener. I put like 3 dots under my eyes with the applicator and then I wash my hands really well. Then I dab the makeup in all around the eyes with the ring finger on your other hand.

Good product, but
Ok. So. I’m pale. I’m a dark white- I’m half Irish half Spanish, I’m deceptively pale/translucent, but I’m not “cool”. I’m as pale as a cool tone/bright winter, but I don’t look it. Peach? Too pink. Yellow? Too yellow. Green? Too green. Pink? Too cool. Lavender? Too ashy, but the correct lightness for the first time. My guess? Mixing white and yellow. Okay, so here’s how I came to that conclusion: what color are my “shadows”? Greige, grey/purple, and sallowness. How do I correct that? What is the antithesis of grey/purple sallow? Golden white light= white and some yellow. Know your lightness, the colors opposite your problem, and how cool/warm you are: turns out I’m a pale neutral person who has adaptive/translucent skin (like an extremely pale person, but I’m slightly deep because of the Mediterranean melanin) - not a warm autumn. Have your undertone professionally typed at Ulta.
