We as a family needed a new mattress to ensure our sons safety whilst sleeping on the top bunk of his shared bedroom, Boys aged 9 and 10. The mattress this replaced was a silent night mattress - a popular brand as you know. This was too high for the bunk and i was always worried.This new mattress, I was dubious about buying as unless you can see in a store or lie on it you can never be sure. I was going to buy from Ikea but opted for trusty Amazon. After looking over for a week i stumbled over this one purely by accident. I read revues - positive, looked company up on line too and all seemed well so took a chance and ordered. The item arrived very well packaged and easy to manage. Kids were amazed you could fit a mattress in a box. I unpacked this, I wasn't sure about it , i wasn't sure what to expect either as i have always bought what i could try. initially i thought oh no is this a mistake but i followed instruction about leaving it to rest for 48 to 72 hours before use. Well... Impressed very much. It is quite a good build and my kids all tell me it is even better than the silent night mattresses. Sure it's not an expensive mattress but still an excellent product for a fantastic price. 9 year old loves it and the height is perfect for a top bunk as well as other single beds. With this you should be happy ... we as a family are very impresssed

I bought this for my 2 year old but because she is so light in weight I think it will be ok for her. But I will be buying a mattress topper and I’m time a whole new mattress. It is hard and not very comfortable. It almost feels like it is made of plastic inside. I wouldn’t recommend.Edited. After seeing my review and that I wasn’t completely happy with the mattress.. bed story contacted me and apologised, explaining it could be down to the vacuum pack packaging. To make up for it they have now sent me a mattress topper which is great and I am now completely happy having my little one in the bed. They are a great company and have shown that they have 5 out of 5 customer service. Thank you bed story.

If I could give zero stars I would. After reading the great reviews I purchased for my nearly 5 year old. Left it 72 hours as recommended. Put my daughter to bed and she said it feels lumpy. She proceeded to waken crying her eyes out with what sounded like pain 3 times. I jumped in next to her to find I could feel the springs poking into my ribs. I nodded off for half an hour and woke up with wee one crying again and my ribs are agony. It’s now 4am and we are both in my bed.Appalled that small children everywhere will be sleeping on this mattress. Shameful.

I bought two of these mattresses a year ago for my teenage daughters. These mattresses are such amazing quality. After a year they are still super comfortable and showing no signs of wear! My 15 year old had suffered from sleep issues for many years. This mattress completely changed her quality of sleep. Now instead of fighting her to go back to bed when she wakes up in the night I am having to nag her to get up in the morning. My daughters like most teens spend a lot of time on their beds. Their mates have commented on how comfy their beds are and my girls both say they have the best mattresses ever. I bought my sons a different brand and both are feeling and looking sorry for themselves a year in. I will be replacing them with these! Highly recommend this mattress!

Good value but really uncomfortable. Bought during lockdown when most shops were shut so I couldn’t try out a mattress and felt a bit disappointed with this one. It’s cheap so I suppose you get what you pay for but you can literally feel the springs through the mattress. I will have to purchase a mattress topper and hope that that helps.

Really please with this. Bought for my 7 yr old daughter and just the job. Came really quickly , well packaged and fairly comfy to lie on for the price

Is very think 28 cm, very firm but soft on the top , I haven’t sleep so good in long time , best investment ever, my mattress is for single bed even for adults can cope with the weight! Amazing really happy, let’s see how much last in time
