Good quality, great fit, more usable power
I replaced my a8 yr old K&N , I tried to clean it years ago with simple green and it eventually fell apart, now I only use the recharger kit. I replaced the old falling apart K&N last year with stock paper filter, the paper filter does not flow air like the K&N, Acceleration has improved since replacing the paper with K&N

Why keep buying disposable air cleaners?
I've used these in many vehicles, and they are very, very good, both in action and cost efficiency. Yes, you do have to service them every 50k, but you're not just buying one after another air filters every 20 or so thousand miles. The deal went simply and quickly, and I am very happy to have yet another vehicle equipped with one of the K&N air filters.

Perfect fit! Performance definitely increased.
I put this filter in my 2010 Infiniti QX56 and noticed an immediate gain in acceleration. My old filter was dirty but not plugged by any means, which indicates that the K&N filter does, in fact, flow more air.I've known about and used K&N filters since I was a young snot. Had them on a pair of Weber 48IDA carbs on my VW Karmen Ghia and my Micro Bus. Loved them then and love them now!Pros:Easy installNo more filters in the trashBetter air flow to my gas guzzling V8Came with a couple of stickers, One for your car or window or whatever and one for the filter housing to remind your local lube shop not to toss your filter in the trash.Cons:Box was a bit oily as the plastic wrapper on the pre-oiled filter had a hole in itAnticipate a drop in fuel economy due to my foot-on-the-floor all the time nowNo other cons

K & N air filter
I have another vehicle that has a K & N filter which has worked out very well. I have the cleaner and oil for these filters already. It helps with performance and slightly with fuel economy.

Drops in, works great
Easy to install, clean and reinstall. Last air filter I’ll ever have to buy. Seems like I grabbed an extra 2 mpg on ‘13 Nissan Xterra

Great Filter for 2007 Nissan Frontier
I could tell that it was instantly picking up on acceleration quicker than normal. Not much maybe by a hair but noticeable. Performance seems to be improved

Well made filter.
In the vain hope of boosting the MPG on our truck I bought this filter at twice the price of a normal disposable filter. It fits perfectly (unlike the cheap disposable ones) and is easy to install. They are supposed to last a lifetime .. we will see :-)However, after 3,000 miles I have not noticed any noticeable improvement in MPG .. in fact there might even have been a slight dip in mpg (but of course that could be due to the aging of the vehicle). If you want a good well made air filter, get it. If you expect improved MPG, get a new car.
