If you are like me an artist and needy of fine artist's monographs AND you already cherish el Greco you totally should find the money to buy this book before it goes totally independent book dealer, that is Amazon may run out of new volumes.Eventually all affordable copies will be used and mostly 3rd party seller for way more money than Amazon is selling this volume now.

Beautiful illustrations with some works I've never seen before for ex the exquisite The Visitation from Dunbarton Oaks collection. A must book for any El Greco lover.

Was unable to see the show in person, so bought the catalog. Really good reproductions and very nice design of the book overall.

Not crazy about the general design of the book but enjoyed the beautiful reproductions and found the various essays interesting and informative.

2019 gabs ne el greco ausstellung in paris. Da war ich und wollte den katalog kaufen..... in french...das kann ich nicht.Die ausstellung war auch noch in den usa und das ist der katalog dazu. Grossatig. Die amerikanischen kataloge sind immer so schön gemacht und lessen sich auch toll anfassen. Etwas komisches format...aber da kommen die hochformatigen bilder noch besser zur geltung
