This adapter works very well with an old camcorder I found in my mother's house. It had been almost 20 years since the camcorder was used, but there was no charger. I feel very fortunate to be able to find a compatible adapter for it. Being able to see videos she took of my boys when they were little is priceless.

Did not work at all.

I got this to try to resurrect an old JVC video camera. It arrived with the wrong wall-to-adapter cord (the two round pegs instead of one round-one squared) which wasn't a good start. I had a spare so no big deal. But it doesn't work and now after reading another "doesn't work" review, it's hard to tell if it's because of the AC adapter or the camera. If they're as clueless as to send the wrong connector from the wall to the adapter, who knows what else is going on? I suppose I'll have to try another adapter.
