This was my first Golden Age Omnibus, Diving Straight into Vol.9 Please, Nobody Turn This Era Into A Live Action Movie, it would Never Work.

I enjoy these classic Batman stories from the 50's...lots of good mysteries and battles with gangsters. A few classic villains like Penquin, Joker and Catwoman and a few one time super-villians. A nostalgic, and enjoying read.

This book completes the Pre-Code Batman. The last stories in this book end in August 1954 and the Comics Code Authority began in September 1954. Also this book contains all of the Batman solo stories in the World's Finest Comics issues of 1953 & 1954 up to issue #70. 71 was when the Superman Batman team-ups began.
