pedag123 De Luxe 3/4 Leather Orthotic with Metatarsal Pad, Longitudinal Arch Support, Tan, Women's 10/Men's 7

I am an argentine tango dancer and we dance in high heels. I suffer from metatarsalgia and these arches seem (upon first fitting them into my shoes) like they might be the answer I've been looking for. I've messed around with all sorts of pads, tape, moleskin rig-ups, superfeet arches, nothing quite solved my problems of pain in the ball of the foot. This arch (Pedag model 123) has both a metatarsal bar pad and a longitudinal arch support. The combination of the two of these is meant to relieve pressure of the ball of the foot by more evenly distributing body weight away from the ball of the foot and instead sends it across the arches of the foot and back into the heel. You can see the arch peeking out from underneath my foot in the photo, it is not noticeable unless you are on the floor and fits into my slim dance heels as the arch is flexible and low profile yet seems to be very well made and constructed. I have high hopes for these. I will update my review after I've danced in them for a couple hours.

As others have indicated, the arch support extends a little further back than the natural arch, which can feel funny (but not painful) if you’re wearing flat shoes. That feature is actually great for heeled shoes, such as 2-inch heeled boots I’m using them in, to shift your weight away from the front of the foot. Place the inserts half an inch away from the back of the shoe and it’s perfect!I bought these to alternate with my custom orthotics, as the custom ones don’t fit nicely in all shoes. This is a great option for those of us who need metatarsal and longitudinal arch support, but still want to wear beautiful dress shoes.

I've been having problems with aging feet. They keep getting wider, especially my toes and my feet have become bulkier, making my shoes, though wide, uncomfortable, especially my toes. These arch support orthotics make my feet feel more comfortable in my shoes. Thank you Amazon.

I really need that extra bit of support in the area just behind the ball of my foot. My poor arches will always be painful on long hikes but with these I can walk miles further before it gets really unbearable. They have greatly enhanced my comfort range. They are pricey but I have several pairs and move them as pairs of shoes wear out.

Completely solved my metatarsal pain! My podiatrist recommended the triangle shaped pad by this company which worked somewhat, but using these allowed me to hike 12 miles without pain.

excellent quality. Next time I will get the full size because I cannot fit these in my shoes with the original thick cushions, (I can use one or the other) so that under the toes I now have nothing. Even with no padding under the toes and area of foot above this insert, I have less foot pain than the the original very cushioned full insert.

I workout 3 times a week at the gym by walking on the treadmill. In the last year my arch started burning in my right foot when I would get up in the morning after a workout. Then it progressed to hurting most of the time unless I had arch supportive shoes or an arch support in my shoe, especially when walking. In the last 2 months the ball of my right foot started hurting and it was very painful when I was barefoot. These orthotics really help and I can now walk on the treadmill without pain. I am 48 and not overweight at all and don't wear high heels or run so I don't know why any of this foot pain has occurred but these inserts help so much.

I have both flat feet and have developed Morton's neuroma in the past. These completely solve my problem. They are well constructed and last a long time. I highly, highly recommend them.

Really great product. Think - for me - could do with being a little higher on the padding - but works for Moretons toe!!

Wenn man Einlagen tragen muss, ist die infrage kommende Schuhauswahl sehr begrenzt. Bisher habe ich von den Einlagen so lange was abgeschnitten bis sie in den Pumps gepasst haben. Ideal war das nicht. Mit diesen halben Einlagen gibt es das Problem nicht mehr, auch schicke Schuhe passen nun wieder.

In meinen Lieblingssommerschuhen habe ich mir letztes Jahr (zumindest vermute ich das) einen Senk-Knick-Fuß geholt. Mit diesen Einlagen habe ich ihnen nochmal eine Chance gegeben und ich kann die Schuhe tatsächlich schmerzfrei wieder tragen.Vor allem passen sie gut in die Schuhe ohne dass sie auffallen und geben ein gutes Polster. Kaufe ich wieder für ein zweites Paar!

Eigebtlich git zu tragen und tuhen was sie sollen. Aber der nur euro große runde doppelseite klebestreife unter der ferse wird die anlage wohl nicht lange an ihrem platz halten! Da habe ich schon besseres gesehen.

Bei Metatarsalgie völlig wirkungslos. Die Pelotte sitzt trotz korrekt ausgewählter Größe viel zu weit hinten, um hier irgend einen Nutzen zu bringen. Die Verarbeitung der Einlage scheint aber recht gut zu sein.
