Filler Primer

Pros: goes on easy, sands well and cleans up very nicely. Works great and has a nice smooth finish Cons: Cost a little more than the cheap stuff but worth it This is my goto stuff for 3d prints. They often have layer lines or imperfections and this covers them well and really easy to sand. I use WAY less sandpaper than with the cheap stuff which alone is worth it.

I recommend using this filler for any chips you have on ur wheels, before painting, it works very well!

This product is outstanding for 3D prints and is well worth the higher price. I’ve been using it for years and tend to buy them in bulk for the price break. I use it for two major purposes other than just being a great primer: 1. I can sand layer lines out of my prints. 2. I can polish it to a shine with high grit sandpaper and then spray it with a high gloss black to make it shine like metal. It’s my go-to for finishing almost everything I create.

I have a Chevy express van with the paint popping off try a few other products. This one was much easier to use because it did not have a reaction with the paint which is considerably rare and made my life a lot easier.

This primer works well and gets the job done, but I can’t help but feel the price is a bit high. Honestly, I don’t see much difference between this and the Rust-Oleum Automotive Filler Primer Spray Paint, which is about three times cheaper. If you’re not tied to this brand, you might want to explore more cost-effective options.

Duplicolor primer literally dissolved after applying paint 3 hours after the primer was dry. junk.

Thought I could save some time running around so ordered two Dupli Color spray products, one primer and two gloss black, for restoration on steel winter rims. Having paid for sandblasting, opened the packages to discover rust on all of the cans, 2 of the 3 nozzles would not function, and it was the weekend so local stores were closed. Using Vice Grips got the one working nozzle to dispense the paint, it was awkward and occasionally spotty because of the limited spray control. Could not return the product for refund because had to make due, but clearly this product was not stored properly before sale. Would not recommend this type of product from Amazon.
