really good, functional, durable, item and the water flow is great for its size.
Water flow is great with DIRECT sunlight. the little tubes can be cut if too long but I feel like they help keep it balanced, flat, floating. My birdbath is a standard size. The depth of water is fine as the fountain floats, however the water does splash and eventually drains empty. It’s still fun to have and watch aesthetically. I have it five stars because it is a really good, functional, durable, item and the water flow is great for its size.

sweet little fountain..
works like it should , very happy with it. REMEMBER though, if there is shade or if its cloudy , this will not work , since it is solar !!!

Works in full sun
I bought this fountain because it was at least half of the cost of similar ones in the store and Amazon said it was an “overall choice”. I’ve used it only one day but here’s my take - great if full sun (it doesn’t seem to hold charge for cloudy/overcast/shadow moments) and great if water vessel had taller sides (the “spokes” aren’t keeping the fountain centered). When in full sun (the whole solar field must be in sunlight), the fountain spray is robust and pretty. My birdbath is in partly shade so I’m not sure this will work. Giving it 4 stars because I think if my water vessel had taller sides and was in full sun, the product would work better.

a great buy!
works beautifully, it is my 10th one! They last a year or so, then sort of give up. But they are inexpensive, enjoyable until fully frozen water stops the pump, then will start again in spring. They must be regularly cleaned (I use in bird bath and the sweet birds are also rather dirty!), and some of the spray heads are too powerful for the depth of the bird bath so just spray water all over the deck, but several of the choices work nicely, and the birds love it!! I enjoy the birds and their adventures, and the pleasant sound of the splashing water. Will work on cloudy days, though not as vigorously.

Any solar device requires sunlight so consider the placement accordingly
Very simple to assemble, might want to clean the filters at least weekly and wipe any gunk off the solar panels. These work great

Works wonderfully.
This fountain is wonderful. Solid, well made, easy to fit pieces so that your fountain is up and running quickly. It does not hold a charge, so it does not spray when there is no sunshine. I don't mind this, but others might. I'm very pleased.

You need a very large birdbath or pool.
If you buy this, it will shoot water out of your birdbath and leave you wondering why it stops working?? The answer is, you have no water left in the bath. I would suggest having a birdbath larger than 24 inches. It does work quite well shooting the water up into the air and comes with several different sprayers. It does work, however we cannot keep filling our bath with water every half hour. We are giving ours away.

Great for bird baths
Love it, its perfect for my bird bath and it works great. Gets really good height. Once the sun stops hitting it, it will not longer work since there isnt anything for storage of power. So if you want it working all day put it in full sun with nothing blocking it. Also try to use stuff around it so it doesn't float to the side and pump all the water out.
