This was a bit more than we usually pay for a fan, but there is definitely a marked improvement n quality and features, making it well worth it. It was very easy to assemble (though note: taking off one of the screws confused me for a minute, because I had to go clockwise to loosen, which is, ya know, backwards). There are 12 speed settings, and while 6 settings probably would be enough, it is great having the versatility. There are multiple height options, AND you can tilt the face of the fan down or up, which was a huge win for us. Of course you can have it oscillate, and it's pretty cool that the remote allows you to also adjust the oscillating and even has a timer, which we actually are using. I am super happy with this purchase, and totally recommend it if you are looking for a powerful, solid, quiet, and versatile fan.

Very quiet compared to a shop floor fan with metal blades , wife said shop fan inside is too loud, I needed a fan. This solved the problem, but do not expect a shop fan's 4200 cfm. At lower 3 speeds outside sounds are louder, At speed 12 cools enough for personal desk work. A bit pricey, but very nice quiet fan for inside use. Looks nice , heavy base , metal fan grill guard easy to disassemble for cleaning. Remote great to put fan right where you need it. Height can be adjusted to standing desk height by adding/ removing pole pieces, Note to designer, wish fan could tilt up more for lower heights, would suggest a metal clip on bottom instead of plastic. That plastic clip makes me nervous. Overall happy , would buy again

THIS FAN IS WELL WORTH THE COST. IT IS EXTREMELY EASY TO ASSEMBLE. IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT, PRETTY STURDY TO BE CONSTRUCTED OF HARD PLASTIC AND IT IS POWERFUL. THE 12 SPEED AIR FEATURE IS AWESOME. IT HAS A REMOTE CONTROL AND ALSO MANUAL CONTROL ON THE UNIT ITSELF. I WAS WORKING FROM HOME AND HAD A DIFFERENT FAN AT THAT TIME AND MY CUSTOMER ASKED ME IF I WAS IN A BATHROOM. THIS FAN IS VERY QUITE FROM THE LOWEST SPEED TO THE TOP SPEED IT IS SO QUITE YOU CAN'T TELL BY THE SOUND IF IT'S ON OR NOT. I LOVE EVERY PART OF THIS FAN. TO ADD ICING TO THE CAKE THE DELIVERY WAS SUPER FAST! I RATE THIS PRODUCT AND THIS COMPANY AAA+

Nice quality fan, quiet, puts out a nice breeze. 12 speed settings, remote a plus. Only issue would be the remote turned on my Fire TV when next to it.

A nice fan very strong blowing but too expensive

This fan is so much better than I expected. It is lightweight, powerful when needed, and can be modified using the adjustable power settings of 1 to 12. The design, engineering and ease of assembly are quite remarkable. The advertisement on Amazon promises High Efficiency and a cooling factor for those of us without an Air Conditioning. I will have to get back to you on those promises.Naturally, the fan tilts up and down and can turn from from side to side manually. But all the automatic settings are located on the keypad below the motor and available by pressing one of several buttons.The button selection includes an on and off power button, the oscillating feature, the fan power button with 12 settings, and a timer to stop and start the fan automatically in half-hour increments. Plus the fan will automatically turn off after 12 hours if none of the settings are used. This is a safety feature to be sure the fan is not left unattended for sometime.One of the main reasons that I chose this fan was the fact that it includes a remote control. Truthfully, I had no idea how awesome this feature would be. Everything that’s included on the fan keypad is available on the remote control.When I sat down to write this review, I had forgotten to turn on the fan. I’m disabled, so getting up again is not without difficulty. Fortunately, the remote control was on the table next to my chair.It was so awesome! The remote control power button turned the fan on. But the speed setting was on 4, so I lowered it to the number 3 setting, more comfortable in the morning.Next I realized that the fan was not positioned correctly to blow on me in my chair With the remote, I was able to make the fan oscillate and stopped it in the perfect position to blow on my chair.Last night I set the timer to stop the fan with the remote control to try it out. The fan turned off in the 30 minutes that I selected. Using the remote, it was simple to turn the fan on again. I like the fan blowing on me when I go to sleep, but it’s comforting to know I can set the timer to turn off in an hour for after I fall asleep.It only took about 5 minutes to assemble the fan. The only hardware required is a small Phillips head screwdriver. The design of the cage is so much easier to assemble than older fans. Actually, the design is quite remarkable fitting together automatically and locking in place with one small clasp and a little screw.I’m an older person, closer to the dinosaur set, so I imagined the assembly would be much harder than it was. Although I glanced at the directions, I caused myself a lot of anxiety by not reading the instructions carefully enough.The Customer Service people were awesome, quick to respond, and very kind in answering my questions. The instructions include a diagram of how everything goes together. I imagined an extra step in the process by thinking the rod that extends from the motor needed to be removed. Hopefully, I can manage to include a photo of the rod that does not need to be removed and a picture of the awesome fan that actually took 5 minutes to assemble.Keeping Cool,Grandmom

The media could not be loaded.  It was super easy to assemble, (less than 10 minutes). It has 3 height options as the top fan can screw directly into the solid base or use 1 pole (1x12") for medium height or 2 poles (2 x12' inch) for creating the tall standing 4 1/2 feet tall fan. 12 Multiple speed options, basically noiseless, with 3 different head tilt angles. The air circulating with the oscillation is great. We have it in our bedroom for a nighttime breeze. The remote makes it super easy to turn on or off, and when you turn it on it starts back at last setting so super convenient it remembering what you want.

This fan is "hands down" the quietest I have ever owned! Even when it's at it's highest setting and while oscillating, it seems to effortlessly keep the air flowing! I've always slept w/a ceiling fan set on high and I recently moved into a new place w/o any. I thought I was gonna be miserable....and I was! I researched and bought a highly rated quiet, powerful tower fan w/remote, yet it wasn't quiet, plus I had to put it up on a stool in order to get it high enough for me to feel it while in bed. This pedestal fan is perfect for me!
