Really smooth and great for gaming

Firstly, this thing is obviously a mad amount of money to spend on a mouse mat, and if you're building up a gaming rig you could probably spend the money of something to give you far more bang for your buck. But, assuming you've maxed out every tiny edge you can on everything else, then this might be the finishing touch.First off, it looks cool. There's not denying that in a dimmed room this thing looks pretty amazing. The LEDs around the edge are slightly recessed into the body of the mat so you can't see them directly when you're playing which means they're not distracting you in the corner of your eye. The big light at the top gives enough glow to see what you're doing, and the pad is big enough that you won't be losing because you couldn't turn around fast enough. It's nice and secure and doesn't slip about.You can customise the colours to your hearts content, and the software is pretty intuitive. Note though that any customisation is stored in the software, not the mouse mat itself, so you do need to run the software to get the custom effect. For most people this isn't an issue, but if your PC is maxed out and you need every cycle available, this might be annoying.Looks very cool, nice and big, and stable. A fantastic mouse pad that adds accuracy and atmosphere to your setup. The pad itself is so smooth, your mouse glides over it; it is easy to dust/wipe down, so there's no problem long-term with maintaining your mouse pointer precision. The wire connecting it to your USB is thin but robust. It's the perfect length to stretch it across/through most people's desks without it getting in the way. The pad stays still on a range of surfaces. It's an excellent size; big enough for a lot of movement, but not completely desk-absorbing.The lighting is really delightful - it's not invasive, and is actually quite subtle, depending on the surface the mat is resting on and the light in the room, as the lights mostly are angled downward. Upon first use, it is set to a general all-colour cycle. This is a really nice setting, but you can alter it by install a 90MB app from the HyperX website. This app provides an incredible amount of customisation that I've never before seen in any products like this (and I really love LED littered computer kit). The pad is fantastic without the lights on or without any customisation, but the opportunity to change the lights to the exact tone and part of the pad you want... that's amazing and really makes the product even better! Great value for money!

OK, so this is pretty premium mouse-matting here. If you're buying it, it's most likely to put the icing on a similarly cool and flashy centrepiece PC, and it absolutely looks the part in this respect. The dynamic neon colours are easily customisable (static/animated) via the software, and it is BRIGHT - turn the lights off for the full, impressive effect.Not only that, but it's pretty solid as an ergonomic, no-slip mat as well. The rubberised underside grips the desktop like nobody's business, and the mouse practically floats on the smooth top surface. It does have a pretty big footprint for a mouse mat, but then again, if you're buying this, you probably have made plenty of room to show off your precious kit anyway. Note that it is wired, but the USB cable (moulded into the mat itself) is positioned dead centre at the back, so it tucks away nicely.I love it - it's crazy bells and whistles, but genuinely handy for usability too. Proper cherry on the top for your PC corner.

I have to admit that I never had a Mouse Pad like this one before and I am very happy now. The quality is good is working perfect and I really love the light effects this is fantastic.Really easy to use just plug on your laptop or computer and works perfectly.The lights are really beautiful and they change colours and intensities with great effects even the corners have light so I love in the dark because gives a nice relaxing atmosphere. They can be set up and customize new light effects with this HyperX NGENUITY software it's great.The movements of your hands with the mouse in this Pad are just great, fast and very comfortable to use really soft and in a nice texture is really stable and very well made.The size is good, big so you have a large angle of movements, very useful for Design Programs and great for play games.

This is my first experience using a hard mouse mat. no one else in the family has used a hard mat either, so I wasn't sure how well it would perform.The motion of the mouse over the mat is very smooth, much slicker than any experience I've had using a soft mouse mat. The colour change options can be modified by a software install but the mat lights up and scrolls through colours without the download.I like it, it feels good to use, my wireless mouse travels over the surface easily and the tactile experience to the user is a pleasant one. Plus myginger cat who loves my computer desk and considers it a an extra cat grooming/petting spot and bed area, doesn't want to scratch it (unlike my other mats).However, it is rather pricey hence the loss one star.

This mousepad is quite BIG, it plugs into the USB allowing it to light up! The lights are quite subtle in a well-lit room but become quite bold with the lights off.You also have the ability to download a small piece of software which allows you to control the colour/pattern of the lights. Its a nice Mouse Pad, feels very decent quality and is priced OK. I am certainly pleased with it.
