I do not drink coffee, so this was the perfect tea pot for what I wanted. The percolating function is perfect for making the best tea since it does not steep it too long and its at the right temperature. Even though it is not as large as I would like, I can make very dark tea that will water down nicely in my large jug in the fridge. Very easy to use and clean, I would recommend this over and over.

Love it. Perfect for black tean and oolong, but I use the kettle directly for green tea and puer. The keep warm function allows for different temperatures.*** update after months of daily use. The tea function is great, the infusion technique makes great tea. There are two thing the company could improve however: a delay function, so the tea is warm and ready when I wake up, and the top of the kettle that sometime does not seal and fall if you don't hold it whe you pour the tea.

No matter the black/oolong/white tea temperature settings, the kettle just and only boils. After trusting the keep warm function and coming back a little while later to an ounce of remaining thick tea water goop I timed the white tea setting - after 40 minutes it was still at a full boil and the temperature reading was at 210F. The manual says white should boil for 20 minutes (which seems like a long time for a delicate tea) and keep warm for one hour before going into standby. (manual says Black tea will boil for 10 minutes, then keep warm, Oolong will boil for 15 minutes)When I tried the Keep Warm Button it ended up just being another boil-until-kettle-is-empty button. I chose the 140F keep warm setting on already recently boiled tea water, so it was starting out at ~185F according to the kettle screen. Keep Warm at 140 raised the water back up to a full boil and kept it there ruining the tea. After 20 minutes of waiting for the 'keep warm' full rolling boil to stop I removed electricity, cleaned it of the ruined tea water, and filed a return with Amazon.The steeping \ percolator function does work well, the design is pleasing, but I don't trust this device and would never leave it unattended.

Love the kettle but the tiny “instruction manual” booklet is not even adequate. I’m trying to figure out how to change temp or create a custom preset all by myself. There’s no preset for green tea. Enough of a challenge to clean that it almost discourages use. Sort of disappointed. Wish I would have chosen a different, more supportive& user friendly brand.

This kettle works well, it heats up water and has a good thermostat for temperature control. But the lid does not seal well if you are using the tea basket/percolator that comes with it, sometimes it will not seat well and while brewing it will spit out tea leaves into the kettle that you will need to strain out.Then there are the silicon seals, for the handle and base, stray drops of tea will run into them, get caught between them and the glass. Where they dry and leave particulate and stains behind that you cannot easily clean, all in all it is a good electric kettle that works well for making tea or beverages but it has some irksome quirks that should be fixed.

One of the features I really like is that the electric kettle can keep the tea hot all the time, and I continue to choose the temperature I want to reach. I don't worry about the tea getting cold, I can drink hot tea anytime.The design of steam smoldering is also rare in the market. The steam is sent to the top and the tea is dripped onto the water and does not leave tea residue and make the tea rotten. The first time I cooked oolong tea, it automatically stopped after 12 minutes. This is very safe! highly recommended!

I had such high hopes for this kettle!! But was extremely disappointed... It's a beautiful kettle, but the tea leaves fall out of the tea basket while it's brewing. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the jug lid does not stay on (rubber around the lid does not suction on to the pot), I would push it down and within 5-7 seconds it would pop up again causing a gap and tea leaves to spill into pot. I don't know if it's just a faulty machine and I should exchange or just return all together... Tea leaves staying in basket is the whole point of this type of brewing... I've left the seller a message, hope to hear soon. If anything changes, I will update the review...

I was so happy to find this kettle. Very good design, can make tea not always in the water, heats the water is very quickly and also can keep warm, because it is a large opening lid, so it is also very easy to clean. I like this kettle very much.
