As a teacher, I’m always looking for colorful pens that write smoothly and easily. These pens are awesome! Vibrant colors, smooth writing. They work great for all of my grading and feedback needs!

These pens are excellent and non-smudging.

Such bright, nice colors! The line consistency is good. Yellow is hard to see. I did a water test to see how much, if any, the ink runs because I want to use them for drawing and art. The ink ran right away and quite a bit (what you see in the photo is after getting wet and then drying off within moments). I like that you can see the ink level. They all worked fine upon first use.I also tried out some paper mate ballpoint color pens (you can see in the second photo; they’re on the right). Colors not as vivid, but they don’t run when wet.

The nib size is a bit small for my heavy hand, but the ink flows well. I'd prefer these in a 7 mm tip, personally, but these are nice for sketching. Nice color selection.

These pens are of solid quality and reasonably priced. They write smoothly, last a while, and come in fun colors. Be careful not to hold the pen in one spot for a prolonged period of time, as it can bleed (typical of pens of this type). Overall, these are a good choice.

Great color saturation

The Pilot Precise V5 extra fine pens are very smooth, write with ease and with all of the colors they are great for artwork or just making a note that stands out.

I’ve used these pens many times over. These are my go-to pens in every colour imaginable. I stock up often on this brand and style of pens.They are fine ball-point pens with ink that flows well and freely from the barrel. They write well and smoothly.The ink dries quickly which, for me, is very important because I’m a lefty and I often have a hard time finding good pens that don’t smudge ink all over the paper and onto the side of my hand as I write.

The only pen my father and I will use. They write so smoothly and the colours! My father prefers the black and blue but I love all the colours. The purple isn’t as lovely as it was in the original light purple casing but it’s still nice. When I saw the bright green orange and yellow - wow! Had to have them. Yes great pen. But be careful to click the cap on all the way. Sometimes it feels like you’ve got it but a firm push gets it the couple mls more needed to close 100%. Had a few dry out on me and chalked it up to “duds” until my father explained this to me. So keep the lid tight and you will have happy writing for many pages. The colours make for a fabulous way to take notes. Love the pilot v-5- Yes pilot v-5 the absolute best pen .
