Oxo Softworks Soap Dispensing Dish Brush

I have owned three different versions or designs of this same OXO dish brush. I preferred the one where the end of the handle twisted off to refill with dish soap. This one refills by pulling up the black rubber cover between the handle and the brush head. This is also where you push down to dispense the soap. I have found in scrubbing dishes, a little bit of soap tends to splooge out from around the fill cover, even though I try to avoid pushing on it. So that wastes some soap, and I have to rinse it off before putting the brush in its stand (sold separately).But it's still a very convenient brush, the best I've found. You can buy brush head refills separately, rather than buying the whole brush. You can also buy the holder or stand for the brush separately (sold in a kit with a brush). The stand holds the brush upright and allows water to drain into the stand, which you can then pour out, when it accumulates, from a little opening at the back of the stand.

Cheap and will likely have to be replaced. They used to make a better version, but now that only comes with the twist back and that causes more issues than this cheap piece of plastic will. Wish they made them like they used to.

Out of all the other brushes of this kind, this is the real deal. Brush does not leak soap when propped against the inside of the sink, dispenses on a push of a button and scrubs well enough to get grime off of dishes, pans, pots, etc.

Like the texture of bristles, the soap holder does not stay on very well.

Item cleans fine, but is very difficult to fill. I liked the way it was before when you unscrewed the handle and filled it from the top. Won't buy against, sorry.
