Let me preface this by saying I am very bad at installing screen protectors, I always have other people put them on for me because I can never get them on correctly without bubbles. This time I had no choice but to do it myself and it turned out to be very easy. The application process is so simple even I could do it without issues, they give you written instructions with pictures as well as a video guide. The tool they give you places the protector perfectly for you all you have to do is clean the screen, use the sticker to get rid of dust, then let the tool do the rest. I was easily able to push out the bubbles for a clean, professional looking install. The paper feel is simply amazing, it has great anti-glare properties as without impacting visual fidelity. Overall I am highly impressed with this, I wish all screen protectors were this easy to install and worked this well.

Fits my iPad Pro 12.9" perfectly and very nice to write on with the Apple Pencil. I did have a problem with installation but it was user error. When I peeled the first layer, I guess I went too fast and pulled the first layer with the actual screen protector and didn't notice. When I tried to lay the "screen protector" on the iPad it was flimsy and had a bunch of static, well that's bc I didn't have the screen protector on there. It was too late to salvage the screen protector as it had collected dust and fur from from couch when I disregarded it. Good thing there are two in the package. I was 100% successful on my second try, slowly pulling the first layer off the actual screen protector and was able to lay it on my iPad. Fits perfectly and looks great. The installation tools are a nice addition and very helpful. Keeping the bubble remover scraper for other projects, better than using a credit card, this has a nice foam so there's no scratching.

I use my iPad primarily for note-taking at school, and I found it annoying and difficult to take notes on a slippery screen. I ended up buying one of these "paper-like" feel screens and find it much easier to write my notes! It works perfectly, and does exactly as intended. There is zero glare, but it does slightly reduce the quality of your screen but I guess that's to be expected when you buy a matte screen protector. I did notice prior to having this matte screen protector, I used apply a lot of pressure when writing and I no longer do that. However, there are a couple downsides I have when it comes to this product. This isn't an actual screen protector, merely a layer to help mimic the feeling of writing on paper, so keep in mind that this will not provide any protection to your glass screen in the event it cracks. I didn't like having to take off my glass screen protector to replace it with this matte screen, so if you prefer protection over feel, then I suggest buying a magnetic paper-feel screen protector that goes over your glass screen protector (and this same company does sell one!). Despite it advertising having an easy application, I found that I had the exact opposite experience. Putting this on was such a pain, and the QR code they have on the paper instructions doesn't even have a working link. The written instructions do suffice, but if you're a visual learner it's a bit of an inconvenience. When pulling the protector over and looping it onto the peg, there was a lot of tension and the screen protector ended up lifting whenever I tried smoothing it out. I ended up having to lift the screen protector and readjusting it a couple of times and stopped following the instructions so I could get it aligned and all the air bubbles out. I took off the shiny top later that initially covers the front of the screen protector so I could clearly see the bubbles and push them out. Taking out the air bubbles were easier though, and after it was fully applied it takes a bit of give to attempting to lift up the screen protector. Other than the issues I had with application, I rate this a solid 4/5 stars. I personally wouldn't buy this again if I decided to get another iPad and would instead get their magnetic paper-like screen protectors so I could take it off whenever I didn't need to use it.

PRO: This screen protector does what it is supposed to do- it makes it feel like I’m writing with an actual pencil on paper. It has a high grit sandpaper feel to it. CON: I knew this would be a matte screen protector, and that I would lose screen clarity by using it, but after using it for a couple of weeks, that screen clarity degradation ultimately annoyed me so much that I took the screen protector off. Ultimate Thought & Recommendation: If you use your Apple Pencil a lot and don’t mind the loss of screen clarity, then I will recommend this ESR screen protector. ESR products are of good quality (and why I decided to spend extra for ESR vs the cheaper ones), and if you really follow the install instructions then it should be a good experience. If, like me, you don’t use the Pencil much and prefer screen clarity over texture on the screen, then don’t get a paper-feel screen protector. I knew what I was getting, and unfortunately it didn’t pan out for me.

If you’re looking for a real paper feel for writing on your iPad, look no further! I love how satisfying it feels and it instantly made my iPad more usable for journaling and writing in my planner. Installation was really great - no air bubbles!

I use this as a tool to write on my ipad for mathematics courses like multivar calc, stats, linear algebra, algorithms, etc and it works well if you find the apple pencil too slick on the naked display. Looks great for reading. Personally a better option than a magnetic cover I had because the closeness of the screen protector creates a higher quality image. The coating has some blur and rainbowness but it is not too bad especially compared to other options. Exceptionally easy to install with built in frame and replacement in the package if you need it. It fits very well because of this too.

This paper like screen saver exceeded my expectations. Not only the ease of installation (if you read the instructions), the quality of the product and the exact fit makes the screen service value more than it’s reasonable price. On installation there were few bubbles which were easily removed with the included tool. I love the surface feel whether using the Apple Pencil or my finger. I definitely recommend this product

I’m a digital student so I use my iPad for pretty much everything. My first semester going all digital was the spring of this year, and I pretty did write on glass because the matte screen protector gave the screen a “rainbow effect”. After some time I decided to try it again because the screen would not stop moving if I put my hand down on it. I put one on (the original one was a 2 pack as well) and I kept telling myself I could get used to the rainbow effect even though I despised it. Last week, I looked up ipad cases and came up on this company’s cases and there was a special on buying one of their items and getting a discount if you bought another. I put both in my cart, and when they came in I put my screen protector on my iPad. This one is far superior than the other one. There’s still a rainbow effect don’t get me wrong, but the effect is minimal. It’s a perfect protector and it makes it feel and sound more like I’m writing on paper. I will definitely buy more if I need to.

These screen protectors are great! They were fairly easy to install, the anti-glare coating is incredible! As someone who uses my iPad for art and studying, the paper-like texture makes it much easier to draw and write my notes. My only complaint is that it took a fair bit of effort to install it without getting air bubbles stuck underneath it. Overall, great quality, but take care when installing to avoid bubbles.

Depois que coloquei a película me sinto mais confiante para desenhar e usar aplicativos de intervenção em pdf estilo o Good Notes. Uma pena que ainda ficou uma pequena bolha no primeiro que usei, mas decidi não retirar e usar a segunda película, para não gastar. Mas o vídeo de aplicação no YouTube é ótimo, a questão foi a falta de habilidade na aplicação. Indico de verdade a aquisição

I found this type of screen protector hard to install from a bubble perspective. I tried multiple times and had to use the backup protector and still managed to have air bubbles. Could’ve been my inability to do it but I most likely won’t be getting this specific one again. The anti-glare is pretty good but does dim the screen down so if you’re watching movies etc. You may not like it. I have no issues using face id or typing/passwords, even with the first persistent air bubbles that are usually only visible with the screen off.
