Q: Is this pure uncoated copper??

Yes. This is pure uncoated copper. I love this ring. It will patina and your finger may turn green when the copper absorbs into your skin/system. To clean the ring -- soak it in water and lemon juice and then rinse it with clear water. Dry with a soft cloth. As for your finger turning green, simply remove the ring and wash your hands. The discoloration will go away. At least it does for me. Hope this helps.

that is a chemical reaction in your body to the copper. No it won't go away but the health benefits are awsome.

Please avoid any chemicals and soap. Cleaning Tip: Please clean by soaking in a mix of water and lemon juice or vinegar then rinse with water. Add more of lemon juice or vinegar if it doesn't clean well.
