Nice product
Easy to install, works well, installed on a huffy as a battery holder for an e bike conversion.

Incredibly smart, ultralight, very easy to install design. Very practical and simple.
This rack is incredibly light, and quite sturdy. It's also fantastically designed in such a way that it's quite easy to work with. The rack is so easily adjustable to various bike shapes and sizes, it really is a smart design. it is also incredibly light, surprisingly so. It feels like the lightness of carbon fiber. but with a metallic material. The one downside to this is that the Aluminium alloy they used to build it, while light, is rather soft and quite easy to bend. It has no real tempering, and does not feel like it will withstand any real bending without stress failure. It's not flimsy, but it is, and is bendable by hand. It does not come with the tools in the picture, however mine came with a better set of tools. A pair of Hex keys that fit all of it's bolts, that also have Philips screw drivers on the other end. It also comes with a double ended square wrench. These tools are all you need to get it on the bike, and they're durable enough that they wont quit after just 1 or 2 uses. It comes with some extra bolts, which is nice. For 30$ this rack is a great find, and worth the investment for getting saddlebags onto a hardtail bike. Personally I would dock half a star for the softness of the material, and the feeling like it wont hold up to being worked on. It feels like it can be broken very easily, but this is likely due to the focus on light weight and sturdy engineering. Also the mounting latch for the seat post does not make a solid closure parallel to the ground so it looks awkward latching it closed vertically.

Solid rack for the money. Recommend it as a buy. A few major issues.
Writing this review after just having installed it. Generally, I’d recommend it at point. It seems fairly sturdy and there are no areas where the rack interferes with the bike. A few things that could be better: * the biggest issue I have with this at this point is the touching of the bar that runs from the rack to the bike frame and the side “w” shaped bars that are there to help with side bags. The two bars are sitting on top of each other without a screw to hold them in place, something like a piece of rubber to stop them from banging into each other, etc. There is no doubt this will bang when riding it especially when you hit a bump. I’ve put a piece of rubber between the two bars for now and will find a more permanent solution. * The images show an advanced looking wrench that comes with it to help assemble it. You don’t get that; instead, you get a standard wrench that actually doesn’t quite fit the nuts. The wrench in the image would have been incredibly helpful. The one that came with it is garbage. I ended up just installing the screws and nuts the opposite direction as shown in the photos and instructions so that I could use a ratchet. * As other might note, the hardware (screws, nuts, etc) are very cheap. Just installed them you could feel and see this. I fully expect that these will rust and probably not hold very tightly. But, honestly, I went into this purchase expecting that I’d have to do that. At this price point, any mfr is going to give you junk hardware and one should always plan to replace it with quality stainless steel parts. * put the back reflector on first. Depending on how you end up configuring/placing it on your bike, the top rack can extend beyond the back of the main supporting bar and you won’t be to get the reflector on. * The instructions are incomplete. Most steps are there but a few key steps are missing such as tightening the underneath screws to secure it. Overall, I’d still rate this a buy. Seems solid and well attached to the bike. We’ll see how it does in use.

Well made and fit perfectly on a 700CC bike
It was very easy to install and comes with extra bolts. It is very sturdy and it has held up well to daily use. I have a Gary Fisher 700CC bike and it fit perfectly.

Great bargain rear bike rack
For the price you won't beat this product. It can be installed as a simple quick release clamp on the seat post for easy removal (but keep in mind the weight limit should be kept under 15 pounds). Or you can install the arms and it will handle about 100 pounds. Installation: First use real tools (picture 1) the screws sit into waterproof nuts so turning them is difficult as it should be otherwise the nuts would eventually rattle off. Use a real adjustable wrench and an allen key into your cordless drill and installation becomes very easy. Install all screws with screw head facing outside, all the screws are longer than necessary to make connections easier, but you don't want to catch clothing on the exposed screw lengths. I was also surprised how far up my rear forks the connection needed to be to fit. Reflector came broken, but who cares. You want to install a "real" flashing reflector on the back anyway, the simple passive ones are worthless anyway. I recommend for $12 you get 2 of them at Ascher USB Rechargeable LED Bike Tail Light 2 Pack, Bright Bicycle Rear Cycling Safety Flashlight, 330mah Lithium Battery, 4 Light Mode Options Very lightweight, very sturdy, a great deal.

For very lightweight cargo only; will rub against wheel with time.
I really wanted to like this rack, and for the first few days it worked alright. It was a bit of a pain to put together, and the screws were so long that my chain was catching on them when I changed gears. I reversed the screws (having the head toward the wheel and the long side facing outward), which resolves the chain issue but made it hard to tighten the screws. I was able to attach a lightweight plastic crate to this rack using zip ties, and while the concept is great (so practical and easy!), the rack could not handle the weight of a U-lock, a bottle of water, and a wallet inside the crate. I know it is advertised as if it could hold 110lbs, but I had to stop twice on the same ride to readjust the dark screws because the rack was lowering down with the weight of the cargo and rubbing on the wheel! My bike has 27" wheels and I bought this rack exactly because it was meant to be universal, but it doesn't fit my bike well. The seat post attachment is very wobbly no matter how much I tighten the screw, making the rack swing sideways when touched. Overall I think this rack means well (the metal is very sturdy), but the execution isn't great. The screws don't hold well, needing to be tightened up all the time and even then not holding the rack securely :(

A very good carrier rack.
This is a very sturdy cargo rack for its price, with great adjustment options to fit just about any bike. I had to do a little bit of adjustment myself to make it fit, which was easy to do, since the top rack itself can be slid back and forth and secured to new spots along the main shaft (which was a pleasant surprise, for me, since if it could not be moved, the rack would not have been able to fit my bike). I only have minor complaints about the condition of the parts that showed up (the rack and bars, not the screws and washers and so forth). They appeared to be slightly scraped as if they had been dragged against a rough surface or something hard hit them, but none of it got in the way of construction. Just minor aesthetic flaws, and nothing more. The two W-shaped side guards were also slightly too far apart to line up with the necessary screw holes, but a little bit of inward pressure bent them right into the exact spots that I needed them to be in. Another personal/not-necessarily-bad problem that I have with the rack is that the seat clamp uses a quick-release mechanism. I personally have no desire for using quick-release anything on my bike, so I would have liked it better if it came with some other more "permanent" securing option. I can probably find a properly-sized screw to use in its place, though, and the rest of its construction is solidly held down by screws against the rack and bike frame, so this is not really a bad thing, in the end. The bungee cord that came with it also seems very flimsy and thin, and I could not figure out how to secure it onto the bike. But this does not really matter to me, as I plan on using a pannier bag with this rack. If I actually do need bungee cords for whatever reason, I can just find smaller and thicker hooked ones to use for a more secure hold against the body. I almost bought another $15 rack from Walmart that could only carry up to 20 pounds, so at just double the price and a little over five times the overall carrying capacity, this was definitely worth the purchase.

DO NOT BUY! Cheap and crappy pannier rack!
I purchased this rack to go on my cross bike to use for a quick out-and-back bike camping trip. This thing is CRAP, plain and simple. I don't know how it has any positive reviews. First, you can feel that the metal it's built from is terrible. The welds are poor, the bending doesn't match at the ends, and it just feels flimsy. Second, installation. The tools provided in the kit aren't even the right size for the bolts. I had to use all my own tools for installation. Third, sturdiness. The clamp that goes around the seatpost isn't even the right size for most seatposts, requiring the older large seatpost sizing. I had to put a bunch of old tires to get it to clamp. The clamping mechanism itself doesn't even really work, and will hit your thigh while you pedal . After clamping it tightly and securing the lower arms, the whole mechanism still rattled slightly. Finally, the side guides. They're attached to the top using simple nylon nuts and bolts, but they aren't secured to the lower arms. Thus, with the cheap-as-crap metal they used to build this thing, both side arms BENT UPWARDS after tying down my bags and tent! Completely unusable. Oh, also, as a side note, my friend bought another clamp pannier rack on Amazon that was priced differently, from a different seller...and it was the same one. Down to the stickers. This is just mass produced somewhere for dirt cheap and re-sold through drop shippers. After one ride, I ripped it off and threw it in the trash. Don't buy this crap.

Tough and light and easily adjustable.
This bike rack is great. My MTB bike did not have rack fixing points and this fitted well. I then did a 5 day tough trail ride with having panniers and the rack was great.

Great for commuting! Easy to install
Really easy to fit and feels sturdy once installed. The instructions are decent, and the overall design is well thought out. I use it to attach a pannier for carrying my things to work during my commute, and you hardly notice it’s there while riding. It comes with a rain cover, but I’ve found the fabric itself holds up fine in light showers. The only minor issue is that the two extension arms on either side tend to come loose occasionally and need to be tightened from time to time. Overall, a solid and practical accessory that does the job well.
