Works perfect.
This centers the coin and the hole perfect. Others have said it needs spacers, it does not. The cone shape inside centers the coin even if you try to make it off.

Still need spacers
It says no spacers needed but there is room for the coin to move so punches end up being off center. If a punch isnt center the item is useless.

Trouble getting to punch centers accurately
I am a retired metal machinist. Military and Civilian shops. I have now punched five coins. Three resulted in off center cut outs by as much as .025. The top and bottom of the set do not quite find dead center - even with no coin in place. When using a brass 2lb hammer (as suggested) the top of the tool has a tendency to "jump around", allowing the coin to shift off center a bit. I'm going to try using C Clamps to "lock" the top and bottom together. Problem is, the C Clamps are now in the way to rest punch set on solid surface.
