Perfectly cromulent.
For the price, it's a good medium roast. It tastes good, and has a lotta character. Plus, the bonus of being whole bean and single origin are nice. But I think it's maybe a bit pricey, and I think I'd prefer if the bigger sizes were on prime. 20 bucks for 12 ounces just seems like a bit much, but eh, I guess that's what ya get with specialty coffee. Anyhow, it's good, and if you somehow have a little extra money to spend in this economy, I'd get it over like Thousand Acre.

Used to be our Favorite
We have been drinking this first thing in the morning for the past few years, always ordered from Amazon. I use whole beans with a burr grinder and do pour over. Two orders ago my wife complained that it was bitter and we started searching, with some difficulty, for something else. Eventually I ordered a second bag of Koffee Kult and it was a bit better - on the coarsest grind and fastest brewing the bitterness was OK but as a result, not much coffee taste. Somewhat interestingly the use by date on the last order was about a year Earlier than the date on the prior order. Also, on the last order, I ordered on a Saturday and a few minutes later decided that I would try to buy direct from Koffee Kult (a bit more expensive). However, I could not cancel the Amazon order because it was already listed as shipped (about 15 minutes after order). As best I can tell the actual ship date was two days later on Monday.

Great Taste!
Fantastic coffee, Iโm not a black coffee fan. However, this has a great flavor by itself, as far as black coffee goes. I only need a spoon of creamer when I normally use 3

How do you say DRY yet oily (?)
If you like Starbucks maybe.... People who add flavored sugar juice to their coffee might like this but drinking it black....no thanks. Not much flavor coming out of these beans.
