Pacsafe Venturesafe 150 GII Anti-Theft Cross Body Pack, Black

I recently purchased the Pacsafe Venturesome 150 GII for a work trip. I am a professional buyer for a retail store and find myself in local markets and crowded streets carrying lots of money. I used to carry a normal sling bag, but I never felt very comfortable knowing someone could slash the strap and make off with the bag - my coworker used this bag and highly recommended it. I went back and forth between this size and a much larger Pacsafe, but eventually decided to try the smaller one.It worked well and made me feel much more secure. The strap was comfortable, and breathed a bit better than my old strap did in the Balinese heat. I loved that the zippers would latch closed, and I was glad for the ability to attach the bag to a table or chair while eating my meals. This bag held quite a bit more than I anticipated. I was able to hold quite a bit of money (we're talking about 80 million rupiah), a phone, a calculator, business cards, and an energy bar. I also carried around a small bug bite stick and a few emergency medicinal items. When I didn't have as much money on me I could also fit a quart sized bag with some "just in case" items for my day.While I was quite pleased with the bag, I will probably also buy the larger Pacsafe Metrosafe 150, which would also hold my work folder, clipboard, etc. (I don't like that I can't be completely hands free with only a smaller bag.)For a traveler just concerned with carrying a point and shoot camera, phone, money, passport, etc for the day, this bag would work perfectly.

This Pacsafe bag is so much better than I ever expected it would be. I'm able to get my wallet, two sets of keys, an iphone 6, multiple pens/sharpies, some basic first aid supplies, and a couple of other smaller items all into this pack. And there's room for more! And it doesn't feel heavy on my back at all, the weight is distributed perfectly thanks to the well designed layout of the pockets.I originally ordered it for when we went hiking, so I could sling it across my body and still have my hands available for balance when crossing over rocks and such. And it does a great job for that! It stays in place pretty well and doesn't impede my motion at all.I've also been using this bag as my every day bag, because it's just that awesome! It's really convenient and not encumbering at all. I love being able to "lock" the zippers when we're walking around downtown. It offers additional security that puts my mind at a little more ease while in crowds.I've also been able to use this bag for another unanticipated purpose! It is a perfect shape and size for lumbar support while sitting in bad chairs! (Just make sure to take your phone out first, you don't want to lean on that!) I have a really bad back, and I'm always trying to find good chairs, but it's impossible sometimes. So I throw the Pacsafe between my lower back and the chair, and I have instant lumbar support in a pinch! I love it!I would definitely buy this Pacsafe bag again!

This item is a great addition for times when you want a small and secure pack. Here's some of the features:Anti theft: Zippers are attached to security hooks. It is virtually impossible to unzip a compartment without fiddling with the hooks. The bag also sports antislashing technology, as well as a dual release shoulder strap buckle. Suffice it to say that it defeats most attempts at incorrigibles lifting your swag without your knowledge. Finally, it is RFID blocking, so attempts to scan and electronically pilfer information stored inside your bag will probably not meet with success.Compartments: The main compartment has the RFID defeating pocket, a pen loop, a key ring, and an inner zippered compartment with a clip. It comfortably holds my Nexus 7 with cover, a "junior" legal pad, pens, and assorted folded loose papers. The larger outer compartment can easily carry my iPhone with a few pens, while the smaller outside compartment can hold small items such as keys, an energy bar or two, and assorted small miscellany.Workmanship: This is easily the best quality bag I own. The thoughtful construction/design, padding, and attention to detail makes it a joy to use. I'm 6'4", and it fits my frame well, with straps extended to the max.Why not five stars? As noted in another review, I think the bag could have been engineered to hold a bit more. Also, it not being water resistant means one has to be thoughtful about its deployment on top of outer garments during inclement weather.Overall, I think this bag is great for those who do not need to carry a lot around, and is well constructed to indicate that one can reasonably use this for years to come. I am pleased enough with this item that I have begun looking at other merchandise from this manufacturer.

Perfecta, ideal para cosas de diario, celular, identificaciones, cartera, libretas, y demás documentos personales, incluso alguna herramienta, navaja, libreta, pluma en fin tu EDC todo bien ordenado seguro y a la mano. No es de gran tamaño, pero mi propósito era el de una mochila que pudiera llevar todo el tiempo con migo cómodamente y sin que me estorbara. Cumple todo lo que yo esperaba, es cómoda, como fuera parte de tu atuendo es muy bonita, elegante y definitivamente te da estilo, si ya te aburriste de traer las bolsas del pantalón, o camisa llenas o abutadas, te la recomiendo ampliamente! En cuanto a las cualidades de seguridad aunque no las he comprobado, en las etiquetas que viene con la machila las especificaciones, y si se siente la malla de alambre interna que protege y los cierres se enganchan a un pequeño mosquetón para evitar que se abra fácilmente. Yo muy satisfecho con mi compra!

I've been using it for a couple of months now. Overall, good bag with decent storage for a bag this size and orientation. I like the security clips for the zippers as well as the meshed pocket for protection. I wanted something that was able to hold an iphone 6 plus along with keys, small change pouch, and even a water bottle (if necessary). It's capable of holding more. Good padding along the shoulders although, like another person said, not much room for the padding to breathe on your back so on a warm day, you get sweaty.

Ero alla ricerca già da un po di un borsello che potesse sostituire il mio vecchio Eastpak classico.Dopo vario tempo e ricerche, ho trovato questa marca americana che fa ottimi zaini e borse di tutti i tipi.Questo era quello che faceva al caso mio, rispetto all'Eastpak The One è un po più grande e più sfruttabile, ma sopratutto comodo da portare per il fatto che è molto più aderente al tuo corpo.Costruito veramente bene e con criterio, materiali resistenti, molte tasche per contenere gli oggetti di tutti i giorni con qualcosa in più anche per cose extra.Utile per chi sta cercando un'alternativa al classico borsello a tracolla, capiente quanto basta, ma non sufficiente per tablet o ombrelli (forse se sono di modello molto piccolo ci possono entrare), cistà però una piccola bottiglia d'acqua.Cosa molto utile, sono i ganci al suo interno (ben 2) per chiavi o altri oggetti, in modo che non si muovano.L'articolo rispetta la foto e la descrizione del venditore, spedizione molto rapida e soddisfacente.

Man kennt das - im Sommer ist man lieber ohne Jacke unterwegs, wer schwitzt sich schon gern tot? Doch wohin mit dem ganzen Krempel? Handy, Sonnenbrille, Brieftasche, Kamera, Ausweise, Taschentücher, Schlüssel... In die Hosentaschen stecken oder am Handgelenk bammeln lassen geht vielleicht durchaus, aber man sieht denkbar merkwürdig aus, es ist unpraktisch und die Freunde der Umverteilung durch autonome Aktion (=Taschendiebe) haben in belebten Innenstädten leichtes Spiel.Die meisten Crossbags oder Taschen bieten aber eben kaum Schutz gegen gewiefte Diebe. Eine, wenn nicht sogar die Lösung bietet diese kleine Tasche von Pacsafe, die ich mir für den diesjährigen Sommerurlaub in einer asiatischen Metropole gekauft habe.Ausgestattet ist die Tasche mit einigen Sicherheitsmerkmalen, die einen Diebstahl zwar nicht endgültig verhindern, es Freund Langfinger aber immerhin deutlich schwerer machen. Die Tasche ist mit einem einlaminierten Gitter aus Draht verstärkt, auch der Tragegurt enthält Metalldrähte sodass Beutelschneider keine Chance haben. Die Reißverschlüsse können bei Bedarf mit integrierten Karabinerhaken aus Metall gegen schnellen unbefugten Zugriff gesichert werden. Der Tragegurt ist entgegen herkömmlichen Konstruktionen ein wenig komplizierter zu öffnen und erfordert etwas Koordination - was aber ebenfalls Absicht mit Blick auf schnelle Taschengrabscher ist. Diese "Sicherheitsmerkmale" ersetzen natürlich kein Schloss oder die allgemein gebotene Aufmerksamkeit, aber immerhin; der schnelle Klau und ein Ausnutzen des Überraschungseffekts sind hiermit wohl deutlich erschwert.Außen wie innen überzeugt der Beutel durch eine intelligente Anordnung der Reißverschlüsse und Unterteilungen. Besonders positiv: der Beutel kann im Tragen einfach "um den Körper herumgezogen" werden und die Reißverschlüsse sind sodann für den Zugriff auf den Inhalt leicht erreichbar sodass man problemlos an seine Sachen kommt. Hier wurde erkennbar nachgedacht, anders als bei vielen anderen Taschen. Der Beutel liegt gut an, ohne zu drücken oder für allzu unangenehme Schweißausbrüche zu sorgen. Für mich die ideale Mischung zwischen Stauraum und gleichzeitigem Tragekomfort bei um die 30°C. Und in der kalten Jahreszeit wäre es grundsätzlich sogar möglich, den Beutel auch unter einer Jacke zu tragen. Auch das frontseitige Tragen ist möglich.Eine RFID-Safe-Tasche soll für das Portemonnaie das Auslesen von Kreditkarten, Ausweisen, etc. verhindern. Getestet habe ich das allerdings noch nicht, da bereits meine Geldbörse diese Funktion mitbringt. Zwei weitere Karabiner (allerdings aus eher günstig anmutendem Plastik gearbeitet) dienen der sucharmen Befestigung von Schlüsseln u.ä. in der Tasche. Eine Stiftschlaufe hält den Lieblingskuli zugriffsbereit. Die Verarbeitung macht überwiegend einen soliden Eindruck, hier und dort schaut einmal ein Fädchen aus der Naht hervor. Hinsichtlich der Wasserfestigkeit sind allerdings vermutlich keine größeren Ansprüche zu stellen, die Tasche dürfte bei längeren Wanderungen durch den Regen oder in Wolkenbrüchen die darin befindlichen Gegenstände nur unzureichend vor Feuchtigkeit schützen. Auch ins Wasser fallen lassen sollte man den Beutel eher nicht.Das Platzangebot ist für meine Zwecke ausreichend dimensioniert, aber zugegebenermaßen nicht üppig. Eine Wasserflasche oder das Tablet/Chromebook passen beispielsweise definitiv nicht mehr in den Venturesafe 150 GII; hierfür müsste es dann schon die nächstgrößere Ausführung (325 GII) sein, deren Anschaffung für größere Touren erwägenswert ist. Ebensowenig reicht es für die Spiegelreflex oder einen Satz Wechselwäsche nebst Kulturbeutel, jedoch bietet der Hersteller auch hierfür entsprechend ausgestattete Lösungen, die dann aber natürlich auch mehr auftragen.Für den täglichen Grundbedarf (Schlüssel, Dokumente/Papiere, Geld, Sonnenbrille, etc.) reicht dieses kleine Beutelchen allerdings allemal aus und leistet mir bislang bereits nach kurzer Zeit gute Dienste.

Macht genau das was es soll, Langfinger fernhalten. Sicherlich sehr zu empfehlen.Sollte jeder kaufen der eine Reise beabsichtigt. Toll ist das sogar die Compact Kamera rein passt.
