Juice Beauty SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer BB Cream, 2 Fl Oz

It took me a while to find a natural face lotion that had an SPF above 15 and was not zinc oxide based. The reason I wanted to stay away from the zinc was simply because I didn't want a thick layer of anything sitting on my skin and because I know zinc oxide usually leaves a white film on your skin. This product has titanium dioxide, which I gather is similar, but still I really like it. When I first got the product I was nervous how it was going to work, because it seems a bit thick and maybe a little greasy, and I already have oily skin. But, applied in the right amount I actually find that this product helps my skin look less oily throughout the day. As I said it's a little thick, but it goes a long way, if you put too much it will be greasy, but if you put enough so that your skin can absorb it, it will work perfectly. There will temporarily be a white film on your skin, but it sinks in and in the few spots it doesn't you can easily rub it in. I actually like that is goes on white because I can make sure I'm getting full coverage. Overall this seems to be a great skin protection and I have gotten no breakouts from it, I like that I'm using something natural and I think it's made my skin better. Finally the product seems to be lasting me quite a while, I've been using it for over a month now. One final note and they say this on the package the lotion inside can seperate a little so, massage and shake the tube a bit before your first use, I found that after doing that for the first two days i had the product was enough now I just try and give it a little shake before I put it on my hand and that seem to do the trick. Get this if you're looking for a natural high SPF alternative face cream.***UPDATE***I may be crazy because I've tried a bunch of anti aging creams before and never noticed a considerable difference...but I swear with this my skin acutally does look younger and more supple. I am only 35 and dont' really have many wrinkles, but am starting to sort of see some fine lines - I truly think that this has really made the skin around my eyes looks nourished and plump like it did in my twenties - yippee :) I use this consistently every day which may also be why I'm seeing a difference. I've been using it for about two months now.

I expected a much lighter sunscreen since this product is advertised as a moisturizer. It feels way too thick when you put it on your face to qualify as a moisturizer. It has the white thickness of a water resistant sunscreen- the kind that takes a while to blend into your skin. When I used it, it left a white cast on my skin that I had to rub in for 5 minutes before it looked acceptable, and then it still gave me the oily sunscreen look.Another negative aspect is the intense smell of this product. It smells like citronella mosquito candles. Even my husband noticed and disliked it. They really should have just made this product fragrance free.But there is good news: First of all, the scent evaporates after a little while. Secondly, my face didn't feel dried out after wearing this product all day (unlike other sunscreen products that left my face feeling parched).Thirdly, Juice Beauty uses high quality natural ingredients that won't overload your body with toxins like so many other mainstream sunscreens. I was also really impressed with the high zinc oxide content (this is the ingredient that provides the actual physical sunblock). 20% zinc oxide is much higher than I have seen in any other sunscreen. Zinc is very powerful when it comes to skin healing and is often used for speeding up skin repair and healing sores etc. So I would assume (I haven't used it long enough to see evidence) if you use this product regularly that it could improve your overall skin condition. Also, the high zinc content ensures that this moisturizer serves its stated purpose and actually shields your face from the harmful rays of the sun.So, if you are mainly looking for a high quality sunscreen (which I was) then this is a good choice, but don't buy this if you are mostly looking for a moisturizer or you'll be disappointed.

I use the Ivory version of this daily sunscreen and it has worked very well for me, even with my extremely sensitive skin. It provides just enough coverage to fade freckles and it helps to hide the undereye circles a little. At the same time it's sheer enough that you don't have to worry about a line or anything at your jawline. It doesn't feel heavy or sticky. In fact, I'm so used to wearing this everyday for the last few years that my face feels naked without it! I do find that it goes on more smoothly if I put a light layer of squalane oil (I like Life Flo brand) on my face and neck first. But even if I skip this step it rubs in to my skin just fine. It is good to just pat it in around your undereye area to avoid pulling on that delicate skin. And for the above eye area, I only put a light layer just under my eyebrows. Any closer and I think it would make my eyes sting eventually. I've tried many different brands of daily sunscreen and this is the best one I've found. It's worth the money.

This product works of course, but you do really need to rub it in. Sometimes it leaves a little bit of a white tint

I work a 12 hour shift and have VERY dry, sun-sensitive skin due to taking Accutane for acne (and I'm a pale redhead, anyway). I only had to reapply this once during the day and only to refresh the sunblock. My skin looked luminous and healthy all day - even after sweating and being exposed to the elements. The whitish appearance from the sunblock in the moisturizer disappeared after just a couple minutes and there was no residue that I could feel left behind, either. I am very pleased with this aspect of the product.The ONLY draw back: it smells AWFUL! I do mean AWFUL! When I first smelled it, I didn't even want to try it. Fortunately, the smell disappears after about 5-10 minutes. I also had a girlfriend give me a sniff test to make sure she couldn't smell the funk (she couldn't, by the way). Hopefully, Juice Beauty will correct this issue and find a natural way to make it better smelling.I plan on buying the night moisturizer now. I just hope it smells better than the daytime stuff! Buy this and enjoy it.
