Why is the price for a battery almost $200 when i can buy a unit and get the battery and a charger for an upcharge of only $90?

Because these trimmers are as strong as a gas trimmer. They work everytime. It has a long run time. I cut around my house 3 time on a charge. I ran mine out of charge yesterday. First time I did not finish trimming and it was only due to a section of high weeds and grass I tackled. After cutting those weeds I think it has more torque than a gas trimmer. That is why the Battery is $140.00. Those cheap leaser units are for mild trimming at best.

Can you leave battery on change all night

Yes you can leave the battery on the charger over night. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger will switch to a maintain mode.

Why is it i can buy an all new ego blower with a battery and charger, and its tje same cost as a replacement battery?

Because it's how they make money. They got U buy the whole set for cheap then when battery die (they already timed how long battery will last), U HAVE to BUY the new one for replacement. U got hooked on it for as long as U still use the blower. By the way, have U seen anything last as long as they used to?????
