Very disappointed in this coop. Was hoping to use for a couple of silkie chickens but would be afraid for their safety due to the flimsy material this is made from. It was hard to put together in so many ways and wood kept splitting. My husband had to drill holes and add extra screws. The nesting box has a slotted bottom so cold air can come in during winter. Will have to add another solid wood bottom on top of it. Latches are all flimsy so had to add sturdier ones to keep doors from opening. It will be good enough to raise a few quail for release but other than that I would advise against buying this for any other animal's permanent residence. I would have sent it back but shipping was so high it just wasn't worth it.

Very cool product , looks awesome and easy to assemble. Ours did show up damaged but I was able to do some repairs . The damage was not the fault of the supplier but was the fault of carrier (FED EX) . The supplier got back to me very promptly and was willing to replace but I decided to keep it as again I was able to do some repairs. Fed Ex needs to get it together and start holding there employees accountable for damaging peoples product as it is bad for the consumer and the company selling product.

This coop is okay for what it is. Don't expect it to last along time without making repairs as you go. We've had ours about six months. One of the ramp/doors fell apart and had to be pot back together. As did one side if the nesting box. The exterior walls and doors/ramps are basically thin (5/16th inch?) Shiplap stapled to 1 inch framing. Left out in the weather the shiplap starts to warp just enough to loosen the staples and boards start to fall off. I've been nailing them back on as needed with on inch brads.On the run, the hinges are very flimsy and bend easily if ever you take a door off or let it swing open too hard, but they are also easily bent back in place too. The latches on the run are likewise flimsy and loose fitting and mounted such that the bolt is moved upwards to lock. If you rattle them enough (think raccoon pawing at the door) gravity is happy to drop the bolt down for you. We ended up using twist ties to secure the bolts in the latched position.All this said, we watched a large fox spend twenty minutes circling and charging the coop without getting in.

We are replacing all the hardware because it is so cheap, all the hinges flex when you put them on, we were shorted screws, and the hardware that was factory installed is installed wrong in several places or cracked the wood when it was installed. The color is nice but the paint is so thin you can see through it. There is no way to keep the exterior panels closed properly so we had to buy hardware for that. This thing is a death trap if you have any predictors, there is no way to keep anything secure.

I have a big coop for my Serama chickens. However, two younger hens were at the bottom of the pecking order and couldn't seem to assimilate. I ordered this small coop for the two of them and they seem happy and comfortable. My daughter put it all together in about 45 minutes. The latches are dinky and cheap so we replaced those. I'm not saying its rock solid but its perfectly good and seems to be holding up well. The little house is very nice.

Went together well and I was able to make a few tweaks to make it just what I needed without much effort. It's low, and sits on ground,so I don't like cleaning it,but it works well.

The wood is broken/ineffective. Shipping Price to return product is to high. I am not sure what I am going to do with it. This product is trash! I felt like I threw my money away!

It rained one day and it made the wood warp. Both of the doors have broke off and I haven't even had it a month.
