I looked online for hours for these exact rope cleats to replace the same cleats that are on my old 1984 pickup truck, which I am restoring. I finally found them, ordered eight of them and recently received them. (I needed this same hole spacing). They match the old ones (which had some rust from the steel fasteners used) almost perfectly so I won't have to fill the old holes, and can just remount them with new anchors. The old ones held up for decades, but the years took their toll. I don't know if they were original eqt, or aftermarket. Repainting the truck is still a ways off, but having these on hand lets me proceed with confidence.

OK, I GAVE THESE 5 STARS EVEN THOUGH I THREW AWAY THE SCREWS THEY CAME WITH; THEY WERE USELESS. I WENT TO HOME DEPOT AND BOUGHT 1 1/2" STAINLESS STEEL MACHINE SCREWS WITH NUTS. I CAREFULLY MEASURED OUT THE DISTANCES BETWEEN THE HOOKS, MARKED ON MY TRUCK WHERE THE HOLES IN THE HOOKS ARE, AND DRILLED THOUGH THE BED. I ATTACHED THE HOOKS, AND GROUND OFF THE EXCESS HANGING OUT IN THE INSIDE OF THE BED. BOLTED THEM UP, AND WALAH! I HAVE GREAT HOOKS THAT I HAVE USED MANY TIMES NOW TO TIE DOWN HEAVY LOADS WITHOUT RIPPING OUT OR TWEAKING. THE HOOKS THEMSELVES ARE VERY STURDY AND WORK GREAT. THE SELLER WAS GREAT AND I RECEIVED THE HOOKS QUICKLY......

Would get a 5 star but these are tie-downs and the mounting screws are way too small. I got beefer ones that still fit the screw recesses. works great

I bought these more for show in my El Camino bed i also used stainless steel screws instead of what was provided so they don't rust. I have not tested their strength yet but i'm sure they can handle moderate tension from a ratchet strap. Overall they look nice.

They are well built, I use them daily (4 weeks now) so far they are holding up perfectly. One big contributor possibly, is that I did not use the supplied sheet metal screws, I put nut-certs into the bed, and attached the tie downs with machine screws.

These are the best quality, best looking tie downs I've ever seen. And this is by far the best price. I have put them on three pickups over the years and really put them to the test. If you are looking for tie downs, I highly recommend these.Also know that the screws that come with them have a good chisel point so they drill their own pilot holes. Thus you only need a drill with a screw driver tip to install them. Once they are on, they are rock solid.
