LENOX Tools Hole Saw with Arbor, Speed Slot, 1-1/4-Inch (1772491)

The clam pack, info card and design appear very similar to the Craftsman hole saws, the big difference being that the Lenox product is embossed with the SAE fractional size, and the metric equivalent. It's a good hole saw, with a stepped cutaway to assist in prying out the cut material. I have used these on 1/2"plywood, aluminum, and thin sheet steel with good results if you vary the speed to suit the material. They run true, with no discernable wobble or deviation.

I used this hole saw to cut a hole in a fiberglass boat and it did a great job. The saw is sharp and feels solid. Important to have a powerful drill for fiberglass work for this saw to go through it but slow and steady pressure made it work well.

If you're looking for the perfect sawhole for 'Aerogarden' sized baskets, then this is it. I have a ton of Aerogarden pods and baskets so I wanted to make a few DWC set ups with some bins I have. The hole was perfect for that and the quality of this part is great. We have another set that just fails at cutting bin lids, but this went through it quite well.

I purchased this to cut a 1 1/4" hole in a stainless steel sink for a garbage disposal button and it worked flawlessly. It cut a nice, clean hole and did it remarkably fast. My ONLY complaint, and not really even a complaint, more like an observation, would be that after 4 uses, the paint is just completely gone to the depth I was cutting. I am totally fine with the paint not being there, all of the markings/size are engraved anyway, but why even bother with painting it? It has to add cost to the manufacturing process, and is then gone after the first day of use and smelled weird while it was rubbing off in the wood. Aside of the paint, this is a fantastic hole saw and if I need any in the future, I am definitely going to be getting Lenox.

Perfect tool for the job I needed

This hole saw is really sharp and strong. I used it to cut a hole through an MDF board. The special situation is that there was a second board stacked below that overlapped the hole a little. The saw cut right through both cleanly.

Solid construction, very sharp, and a very nice feature with a built in plug removal slot that has a notch in it so you can pry out the plugs easily with a screwdriver. Also separates with an Allen screw provided. Great drill bit!

These Hole Saws are a great value for the price. I use them on stainless steel tubing 14g and they cut cleanly and accurately. I was able to get a very tight fit as there is virtually no wobble on these saws. They run true, and the curf is almost burr free. The arbors are a bonus at this price.

This bit is listed as a 1⅛” in the description, but actually ships a 1¼" bit. Look at the fine print further down and it is in fact listed as 1¼". Amazon, please update the title to show the correct size! The drill bit itself is fine, the weld is a bit off making the bit not perfectly round, but reasonable for the low price.
