Cuts well without clogging
Mirlon is abrasive all the way through, unlike a similar-looking, very popular pad. And unlike sandpaper, its open structure keeps it from clogging. On a hard film finish like lacquer, its a good leveler. On an "in the wood" oil finish, I use it as a second coat applicator, similar to using 4/0 steel wool, but without the fine metal particles.

Very handy sanding clothes. I use them to sand difficult to reach places with other sanding sheets. Well worth the extra money.
