Nice shot glass. Mine does not look low quality as some other reviewers reported. The letters and lines on the glass are in gray color, which makes the glass look a bit more elegant. I don't know why some other reviewers say that, but my glass does not get uncomfortably hot; I mean I can hold the glass with the hot espresso for many many seconds before actually feeling my finger tips getting hot ( and yes, my fingers are quite delicate :-) ). It is also big enough not to allow coffee to be spilled, at least not when using the coffee holder of my De'Longhi BAR 32 machine. The only minor drawback is that it should be a bit bigger, to allow for some more room for the crema.

I bought it to be able to prepare ristrettos. The graduations seem accurate and good quality. It is also good to measure double shots since it is wide enough to do it.

I know glass is fragile but these broke easier than I expected.

This measurer takes the guesswork out of making a good serving of espresso or capuccino. My morning capuccino is made with two teaspoons of Demarara or Turbinado sugar, two measures of Ristretto (mixture of Columbian Supremo and Espresso roast) with 4 oz. of frothed whole milk. Before using this measuring glass, the coffee was sometime bitter because of over-extraction. I use a Rancillio Silvia and a Rancillio grinder. Use the double portafilter insert basket and a single spout handle.

It's marked. It measures well. I was able to properly measure the timing for the Breville Infuser Espresso Maker

Der Messbecher ist sehr genau und auch für Siebträger mit Doppelauslauf geeignet. (Siehe Bild)Der Auslauf von meinem Doppelauslauf beträgt 29 mm und entgegen mancher negativen Bewertungen läuft nichts daneben.Ich habe die Skaleneinteilung mit einer geeichten Spritze aus der Apotheke überprüft, genau am untersten Rand vom Strich für 1.0 oz/30 ml sind es tatsächlich genau 30 ml entsprechend einem einfachen Espresso.In der Artikelbeschreibung sind die Abmessungen vom Messbecher angegeben, deswegen verstehe ich nicht das manche den Messbecher negativ bewerten weil er für einen Siebträger mit Doppelauslauf zu klein wäre. (Vor dem Kauf messen ist hilfreich)Der die Skala vom Messbecher ist im Siebdruckverfahren bedruckt, dementsprechend würde ich den Messbecher zur Vorsicht nicht in einer Geschirrspülmaschine reinigen. Ich erwähne es weil der Becher schlecht bewertet worden ist weil der Aufdruck in der Spülmaschine nicht hält. Dieses ist aber bei vielen Gläsern zum Beispiel für Pils oder Kölsch auch so der Aufdruck ist oft nicht Spülmaschinen geeignet.Den Messbecher nach Benutzung mit klarem Wasser ausspülen reicht meiner Meinung nach aus.Der Preis von 11,98€ inclusive Versand ist als Prime Artikel etwas hoch, mir war aber der unkomplizierte Kauf in Verbindung mit dem sehr schnellen Versand bei Amazon wichtiger als ein paar Euro zu sparen. Deswegen empfehle ich den Messbecher um seine Espresso Maschine einzustellen oder Kaffeewaage zu prüfen.

It came as a bit of a shock to me that previously, what I thought was a single or double shot, was well short of what it ACTUALLY was. With this glass, I've re-calibrated my automatic coffee machine to dispense two full shots into two glasses (so one shot in each) and then add frothed milk to make the perfect cappuccino. Very helpful and when I am making coffee with a manual coffee machine with only one espresso spout, it captures two shots that I can easily and mess-free pour into two cups; again to make the perfect cappuccino. Very happy with my purchase.

Den Aufdruck könnte man mit dem Fingernagel abknibbeln. Wirklich schlechte Qualität. Davon ab ist die eckige Form nicht ideal zum trinken.
