Defective
This item when it worked had a great battery life and the sound is amazing but after 2 weeks in not able to charge it anymore. However from day one it was a struggle to get the provided USB into the charging hole and eventually it stopped charging on both pieces. This item is what I consider a waste of money. I thought it was the one I had, that was the problem but I missed the returned date on this one as I was traveling and just purchased a second one because its very comfy. I really thought well maybe its the one I had. I just returned the seocnd one also, dew to the same issues. Save yourself the hassle and do not purchase this item.

mis-labeled as BT5.0
When I bought it, it was labeled as BT5.0. The battery life was ok for the size. The range is about 20-25 feet, it will disconnect once go farther than that. The sound was not very loud no matter how much I tried. I found out weeks later from reading the instruction menu in the box, it said it is a BT4 device and now the title on Amazon page changed to BT4.2. It's a bait and switch...

Batteries are garbage
This worked ok for about a week, then one of the batteries quit charging & the other one didn’t last very long. I contacted the seller and they offered to send me a new charging cable but I told them I didn’t think it was the cable. I thought it was the batteries. That’s the last I heard from them. Then I was using the battery that worked a little, and it started making a buzzing sound in my ear and started to get hot. I took it out & it smelled like burnt electrical. So I disconnected the battery and now returned it to amazon. Be very Leary about buying this.

You may have intermittent single loss inside your house.
This product doesn’t hold the single good in my apartment. But the sound quality can be good. I love the battery life.

Everything you want in a headset
The Y6 headset has everything...Bluetooth 5, noise cancellation 2 interchangeable batteries that gives you off the chart play/talk time without the need for a charge. All headset should be like this one.
