So nice I purchased twice!
Purchased for my 18 year old and then again for my 9 year old. The colors are super vibrant! Make sure to use a backing as they will bleed through everyday printer paper.

Definitely contains 168 markers. I received 170 pieces total
First of all I would like to apologize to anyone that had a negative experience with these markers. Because they are indeed a great value. The markers did not come organized as they are in the pictures. They were assorted randomly. I took the time to organize them myself. As you can see there are two flats that are 5 x 8 which equals 80 markers there are two flats that are 5 x 6 which is 60 markers and then there is one flat that is also a 5 x 6 however it is missing two markers so that is 28.If one adds it all up it comes to 168 markers total. 5×6×2 = 60. 5×8×2 = 80 80+60 = 140 and add the 28 for 168 markers. There are a lot of Cool gray, warm gray, blue gray, and green gray markers. The colors themselves do not go from zero through 168 it actually goes up to 198 because some of the colors in between are skipped however you do get a large amount of different tones for the same color. For instance one through 18 are all different shades of red or pink there is no number 19 or 20 and 21 through 32 hold colors from salmon pink to deep yellow. The markers also contain colors that you would normally find an oil paint or Acrylic paint set such as Pthalo blue, cerulean blue, coral red, yellow ochre, viridian, and more. I’m just looking at the colors themselves You could use the markers for fashion design, make up design, comic books, and even realistic artwork as it contains flesh colors and other types of skin tones. If you look at my marker pictures and count the numbers you will understand what I am talking about. It is a great value for the price if you were to buy the same amount of markers Such as Copic or The brand produced by your local our store. You would end up paying around $700. This is because when sold separately the markers can range anywhere from eight to $10 each however they are cheaper when you buy them as a pack. The markers are vivid and easy to use.I hope this Review helps you.Have a magnificent day to whomever reads this review.

Great for the price point - for beginner artists
I'm not a beginner artist, but I'm new to using markers (last time I used them was elementary school). I think these are great for what you are paying. For someone more experienced, I would recommend different markers, but these are perfect if you're just stepping into using markers in your art.My biggest complaint is that the markers are not brush tips, and they are very rigid. You can't make tapering lines, so combining colors or layering markers can sometimes come out shaky and blotchy. I had never used markers before, so I didn't know that this was something I would have wanted from a marker.I would say these are perfect for young artists wanting to try out something a little fancier than kids art supplies but don't want to pay for expensive markers.PROS:Variety of colorsColors are vibrantVery inexpensive compared to other brandsComes with nice organizer in the carrying caseInk has no smellCONS:The markers are inflexible, so you can't make tapering lines. They are not brush tips.A couple of the colors arrived dried out.Markers are sometimes hard to open/closeBlending can take a little work

Great Value and Kit!
My son wanted certain markers for his birthday. He loves drawing/practicing drawing and wanted a good set of markers to go with his pencils and colored pencils. I came on Amazon looking for the brand he wanted, and he saw this set. We read the reviews and he decided he wanted this kit. Compared to the markers he originally wanted, this set was a steal! They came in very fast (which made him think I was somehow magical for getting them here on time for his birthday) and intact. Packaging was great. Everything was in place and accounted for. And he’s so happy! They’re great markets. I like the dual tip so you have the same color in the different tip sizing. The case is such a bonus! Keeps the markers in place and organized. It’s easy to bring out with you wherever you. They work perfectly. He’s a happy kid which makes me a happy mom! I don’t have any complaints about this purchase and I highly recommend. I wish I could remember the name of the brand he originally wanted, so I could input that in my review to help others who are potentially looking for that brand and know that these are extremely comparable and worth it! All I remember is that each individual marker from the brand he wanted were like $9/each, and a set this size would’ve been over $300. If you know what brand I’m talking about — know that you can get these and it’ll be the same thing but way cheaper, way faster to come in, and so worth it! Again, highly recommend buying this set. I think I’m going to be ordering a second set in the next few days, just to have a back up for when, inevitably, the ink runs dry with the amount he uses them in. Great for gifting as a birthday gift, Christmas gift, etc… or for yourself if you’re into drawing. 10/10!

Get what you pay for...
Most of the colors are great, although the pale colors seem to distribute pigment slightly unevenly. Most of the drop of stars is in the lack of organization, and a number of the markers were dead upon arrival (93 burnt orange, 143 rossilk, 88 purple gray, 89 pale purple, wg2 warm gray). When they arrived they were in no sense of order and the white pen had shattered in shipping. I'm somewhat obsessive and I put my colors in gradation order, the numbering system does not follow that and so it took me literally hours to organize.
