Just like the 4' x 8' that I installed first, this is easy to install so long as you are comfortable locating the center of studs over your head. It is easy to assemble and very sturdy once tightened up. Just leave everything slightly loose during installation then tighten it all once fully erected. Fortunately I remembered to order the lower version which actually holds almost as much as the 4x8 due to the extra height to the ceiling.

Went up quick. Very sturdy. All our summer stuff is now up and out of the way.

Great storage unit. It took a while to install since my beams are going along the long edge of the shelf and are not spaced exactly 16" on center. I flipped few ceiling brackets to get the width I needed and problem was solved. The shelf is quite spacious. I dropped it to just above the car height to maximize storage. The downside is that several parts arrived scratched or bent, but one phone call fixed the issue - customer service sent replacement parts quickly. Four deck units are spaced about 1 1/4 apart. I personally would like them a little bit closer, but its not really an issue when the load is on top of them. The installing instructions for ceiling brackets are clear, but I would personally prefer to have dimensions for bolt locations rather than outside to outside dimensions to avoid doing the math and double marking. Overall is a nice and sturdy shelf and I am planning to order another smaller unit of custom size. Customer service representative said that hey can make custom sizes to meet specific client's needs.

This is my second MonsterRAX storage rack. 1st one went up easily and holds a lot! Ordered the second one to finish my garage storage. Love that my stuff is up and off the floor.

It’s a solid product but the instructions are for all size. Extremely frustrating to install.

This shelf is sturdy and looks great. A little bit of a challenge to install flush mounted to the wall. I installed the 3'x8'. I'll probably install another soon.I think a 4'x8' would have been too deep when flush mounted against the wall, so I"m glad I went with the 3'x8'.

This shelving unit is awesome. My husband installed it to get some of the items OFF the garage floor - pic 1. Just not sure where he got stalled - pic 2. This is after 2 weeks up. How much difference do you see ......... it’s not the product!
