Great glimpse into Anna Zaires' Krinar world!
I'm a fan of Anna Zaires' Krinar series and love the way she weaves interesting characters, world-building and backstory into beautiful romances anchored by solid emotional conflict and fueled by hardcore primal lust and wonderfully crafted erotica. This is definitely a shorter read, but so well written and very well conceived--particularly given its length. Makes me appreciate even more what a strong writer Zaires is. I think it's a great introduction/sample read for anyone interested in exploring the Krinar series and Zaires' writing talent. Gives readers a good first look into the fantasyland of uber hotness that awaits them with the K men.Be forewarned, this short story definitely packs some great heat! Probably best not to read in public on your iPhone (like I did). Looking forward to reading The Krinar Captive next!

Good short Krinar story
Good short Krinar story about Arus, a Krinar observer who came to Greece, third century BC, 2293 years before the Krinar invasion of Earth. While there observing he met Delia, a local girl from a nearby village and was very attracted to her. Good enjoyable quick read which has a lot of the scientific accomplishments of the Krinar nation which was introduced in Close Liaisons which is the first in the Krinar Chronicles series. A great science fiction read which current resides in my favorites collection to be read over and over again.

To short to encourage reading the series.
Having read The Krinar Captive, Mia and Korum Trilogy and a few other books in this series, I was curious about Delia and Arus story and how little was learned about them in it. (don't know what I expected in 52 pages, so my fault). I normally skip any books under 150 pages, too short a read for me. I am not sure that it would have encouraged me to read another book in the series had I not read the others first. I do like the bundles but found that often times you buy a book twice in doing so. Maybe bundling all the shorter books together would be better. I have read other books by Anna Zaires and enjoyed them so I am not criticizing her writing. I will just avoid short stories to avoid the disappointment for myself.

Too Short
I enjoyed reading this book although it really was a tad too short. The characters were described quite well and the story itself was a good start to the series.

Short and sweet
This is a short Novella - but worth reading if you like the other books in this series. I think these tweets characters could have had their own book, and I found the novella was just how Ares and Delilah met - there is no conflicts really, a mention of how Delilah's life is poor and her parents solution is to marry her to a old fat blacksmith who abused his dead wife. The novella is really a short story on how an alien, who is assumed to be a God, sees girl and takes her and that's that- with a sex scene. Great blurb if you follow the series.- would have liked to see a book on this couple

Very short and sweet sci-fi story
I did like this novel by Anna Zaires. However, it's just too short. The end left you hanging. There should have been more story plot to go. It barely got warmed up before it ended suddenly with the hero and heroine deciding to glide off to "Never, never land" of the galaxy. Oh, well it was good while it lasted. The reader will just have to be satisfied with the ending and make up his own mind what happens after that.

Awesome read
I loved this short story couldn't put t down. This story was about Arus & Delia and how they met. Delia went out to look for food for her family but she didn't think that the storm would be so bad, when she was waiting the storm out in a small cave by the cliff she saw a man come out from the stormy sea. After rescuing her and getting her to safety in his spaceship he started getting feelings for her. After being together he asked her to go with him to his home on his planet.

Wonderful Anna Zaires
I love this author, I have read most of her books and enjoyed them all. I am a real sci fi buff and enjoy romances so the ‘Krinar’ stories are probably my favourites. However she also writes contemporary ‘dark’ romances and these are also brilliant. I am a great fan. Take my word for it, you won’t read any better.

Swept Away
Love this Krinar series so much I've read the Mia and Korum trilogy three times! I would love to read more in the same series, if they were ever to be written.
