I love this mug so much. I like being able to cradle my coffee mug in the mornings and this is mug sized and has the loop to wrap around my hand. Its perfect. I also like the measurement markers on the inside, very handy for cooking dehydrated meals. Mostly though, I love this because it keeps my coffee warm while I drink it even in the cold, and gives me the cozy feeling I desire because I can cradle it in my hands. Its nice and lightweight, easy to take with me backpacking, and does everything I want a mug to do. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

I really like this mug. It's light and easy to clean. The insulated cozy does a pretty good job of keeping my coffee warm, and I really like the flexible handle. One thing I will note is that I drink out of it with my whole hand through the handle, gripping the mug itself. I have very small hands, so the handle actually allows me to hold the cup comfortably without worrying that I'll lose my grip on it. The lid seals surprisingly well for a non-screw on lid. I have to make sure the drinking tab is open when I put the lid on with the mug full of hot coffee because otherwise the air pressure won't let me put it on all the way. I've done some trials of turning it upside down full of hot coffee and not a drop of leakage! I've noticed that when I first got it, the cup sat very, very snugly in the cozy, but over a few weeks of use it's loosened up. One reviewer said that they clipped it onto the outside of their pack and then the cup fell out and they lost it, and I agree that that is a danger. I think I'm going to add a bit of nylon webbing with a patch of velcro on either end to loop over the lid, so that I can clip it to the outside of my pack without worries. However, it also fits perfectly in the side water bottle pockets of both of my packs... so maybe it'll just live there. Love how much liquid it holds and it looks cool. Also, the plastic of the mug itself doesn't seem to take on the smell of what was in it, which I really appreciate.

This thing is awesome. It’s been my ultralight backpacking cup for years. Keeps things warm for long enough to drink them. Easy to pack, easy to clean. You get used to the handle really quickly. Just bought a replacement for one that I misplaced.

I bought this mug for backpacking, but ended up bringing it to work. It holds coffee and tea securely unlike an open mug, keeps its contents warm, and it is much lighter than a thermos mug. It seems that it is as well designed for the office ad it is for the outdoors. The handle strap fits nicely to your palm and I never had any seepage or spills. A solid purchase.

Nice mug for coffee and drinks on the go! Saw a bunch of people on my last camping trip having these clipped to their daily carry pack, got curious and decided to get one. Easy to clean, very lightweight and has these gradients in it to now reduce the need to carry measuring cups. Good for the price and protects your hands from heat with the cover. I think it is the same material as like Nalgene bottles so it's good for heat and cold. Great overall!

I'm a huge fan of these GSI mugs for use in back/bike-packing. I much prefer them to the titanium cups with which they compete due to this model of GSI cup having a lid that can be shut. I can fill the cup with coffee or water, attach it with a carabiner to my backpack or a bike bag, and enjoy coffee or water down the trail. The material covering is also nice for insulating the drink and protecting fingers from a hot cup.

A great cup. I use it for making pour over coffee at camp. I appreciate the markings on the side to show when stop adding hot water. The sleeves an easy slip on. It is very light!! The 16 ounce is a plus 12 ounce of beer

Got this as a gift. Very light weight so great for carrying in a backpack!

I love cups, I have a small addiction which is strange as I usually keep to the same mug but this was for work, so that means something to keep my tea warm for long as I'm quite forgetful. One of the chaps at work had one and I always liked it so I thought why not. Firstly it looks great, I love the colour choices and of course I went with red. The strap as a handle gets a little getting use too but has the look for outdoor use in the bag. The lid is a good fit but found the lip of the mug can make tea spill at times. It keeps my tea long for quite some time which is great. I mainly use it when I'm working in the office so I can do quite a few jobs before getting a drink and it still pipping hot. To clean the mug, its easy peasy. You can remove the inner plastic cup and wash it so you won't be getting the insulation cover, wet and damaged. The quality is good, no issues so far and going by my work colleague, he hasn't had any trouble with his and he's had it for years.
