Blackberry cable for connection between PC and phone

The ONLY Cable You Can Use
It's a shame that not all of Garmin's handheld devices come with this mandatory cable. With well over two feet of sturdy cable, one end is a standard USB plug and the other is a specifically made rectangular plug for your Garmin unit. This easily enables you to download waypoints, geocache, maps and other GPS oriented software from your computer to your Garmin unit. Well worth the cost, Garmin made sure there are no other cables that can be used for this purpose. Be sure that your unit requires this cable before purchase, as there are so many different types on the market. I use VISTA on my PC, so this should work with earlier models of Windows. If you own a MAC, check Mac compatibility. Good luck.

Exactly As Advertised
What can I really say about this cord? It came to me exactly as advertised. No problems with Windows 7. I was actually using this to upload data to my Garmin and it worked flawlessly.

Wrong cable!
By the picture and the description, this should have been the cable I needed for my new blackberry. But its completely wrong! I can only think that maybe it is for an older model?...

USB Interface
I have found that this item has a greater length than most others, making it easier to access various USB ports. Although designed for the Garmin / Magellan GPS units, I have used it with my Western Digital Passport External Hard drive. Very good product for many appications!

Works
It's a USB cable and does nothing more and nothing less. Functions just as one might expect. Data transfer speeds are normal charge is normal.

USB Mini cable
It was simply the cheapest short mini USB cable I could find... Can't get simpler than that, works finely.I didn't buy it because it has Blackberry in the title, it's really just a normal mini-USB cable and as such it fits anything with mini-USB. I've used it for all sorts of things so far.The only thing that can go wrong with buying a USB cable is ending up with the wrong type of plugs. I scrutinized the picture and researched mini vs micro and made sure I ordered the right one, I suggest you do the same.

Erm... it's a lead?
I have been asked to do a review of a lead. What can I say. It's a lead. It does all that I would expect a lead to do. It got here in a few days- testament to the Royal Mail I suspect rather than any great diligence on the part of the seller. On the plus side, it's performance is superb, it does all that I want it to do. On the flip; it's a lead so it's projected task management capabilities are finite at best.

Not as Described
Does not fit the Blackberry Phone. Have used it with my cameras. Beware of the description on the site you will need a micro.
