Worth the money.
Finally, able to do a good review on lake Erie. The poles are great action poles, as UglyStick has always been. The reals were tested along side of 2 others higher end reals bought from Cabelas few years back. The UglyStick I say wins. Once you learn where to set your magnetic break. These are great trolling rods. With Dipsey Diver they have a great arch. And very noticeable once the diver releases and still a good size fish on. (Walleye 24") you can feel the fish on. And tell pretty much what it is. If you know you know. Smooth and quick retrieve. I use 20# braid. Little heavy. But you can hold 600+ft with no problem. No problems with bird nesting. Especially once you dial in your brake. Clicker is loud which is good for me. The drag is touchy. Once set to troll. You only need a slight turn to be 100%. But using #1 Dipsies you already have a lot of resistance prior to popping.I bought 4. All came intact.The brake were all set different in the factory. If it doesn't release the line. Loosen the brake is all.

Decent rod, not reel
I like the rod, but the reel seems pretty flimsy. Feels like the reel handle may snap easily. Better off buying the rod seperate with a better reel.
