This is an awesome peel and I love how simple and easy to use it is. I only experienced mild tingling the first time I used this, and not much afterward. However, it is strong, and some people may not tolerate it well. This irritated my husband's skin and he had redness for about 8 hours after using one pad.I'm quite happy with the results. My skin isn't peeling like crazy but the dead cells are sloughing off when I clean my face, and my pores look much better.You get a very nice supply here, and the pads are all thoroughly soaked with the solution, so you can use this easily and not be worrying you missed a spot.Ingredients:Step 1 Peel Pad: Aqua (Water), Alcohol Denat., Propylene Glycol, Glycolic Acid, Citric Acid, Arginine, Ammonium Hydroxide.Step 2 Neutralizer Pad: Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Glycine, Benzalkonium Chloride.

I'm in my mid 40's and have been looking for an effective at home peel for awhile. I'd been going to the spa to get treatments, but they were getting expensive and with COVID I wasn't able to go as often as I'd like. I tried multiple other brands, but none gave me the results that I was looking for. When I had the opportunity to try these, I jumped on it. I've been using them for 6 weeks and I can already see a noticeable difference in my pores and fine lines. There's an evenness and a brightness to my skin tone that wasn't there before I started. My skin is glowing and super soft. If this is what happens in 6 weeks, I can't wait to see how my skin looks when I'm done with this first box. I highly recommend you try this, especially once you hit 40. Please never stop making this product!!

This Repair Perfecting Peel by NeoStrata seems to be pretty effective. It is certainly easy to use. I really like how stream-lined and simple they've made the process. There are two color-coded sachets: Step 1 is blue and contains one Peel Pad, and Step 2 is silver and contains the Neutralizer Pad. The instructions suggest leaving the peel solution (Step 1) on your skin for about ten minutes before moving on to Step 2...or less if you experience any tingling or redness.My skin is somewhat sensitive, and guess what? I definitely experienced some tingling and redness! My face felt like it was burning when I used the Peel Pad. It turned red and felt like hundreds of little fires had been lit on its surface. Fortunately, that pain subsided in about a minute, and I was able to go with this treatment. Unfortunately, however, all I could think about at that point was the pain that must have been felt by the countless rabbits and cats who were subjected to cruel tests to make these products less painful for human use. Even worse, its chemical constituents were undoubtedly applied not just to their skin, but also to their eyes, and in stronger concentrations as the final product was developed. Whatever pain I felt was nothing compared to the pain they must have suffered. To be clear, NeoStrata says they do not test their *finished* products on animals. That's great, but there's no commitment to vet their raw material suppliers for such compassionate policies, so while this product itself may not have been tested on animals, its ingredients probably were. Also, these products are still sold in countries where cruel and unnecessary animal testing is obligatory. NeoStrata may not do that testing themselves, but they pay a third party to do that dirty work. I appreciate the anti-animal testing statements NeoStrata has made on their website and elsewhere, but talk is cheap. I wish they'd put their money where their mouth is, stop selling in China, and make a REAL stand against such cruelty! Until then, I can't recommend their products to anybody.

Impressively easy to use and highly effective at revealing your skin's maximum potential, NEOSTRATA's SKIN ACTIVE Repair Perfecting Peel is the perfect addition to anyone's skin regimen! My experience and results from using this product were impressive, although there were a few causes for concern that I feel should be mentioned to potential customers, which I address in the following product summations: - Directions on how to use this product are exceptionally easy to understand and even simpler to apply, which is a relief because some products have dozens of steps just to complete 1 process.- The amount of product you get is way more than I've seen from any other company and should last approximately 3 months. More than enough time to see maximum results and justifies the high price!- When used consistently and directions are followed, areas of my skin were relieved of uneven pigmentation and skin resurfacing promoted a brighter complexion, with an alleviation of fine lines.- 1 of 2 concerns is that this is not for all skin types; I have somewhat sensitive to average skin and noticed quite a bit of redness that did not immediately subside post-removal of this product. After 8 hours or so, the redness went away and I did not experience any further irritation upon using this product again.- My 2nd concern lies in that there is very little known about what ingredients are used and how much of it there is, I feel that ingredients should always be transparent. Especially, a facial peel because of the sensitive skin it is applied to on your face and for the amount you pay, as well.Overall, I benefited greatly from using this product and will continue to update this review as I progress further along in the 3-month process. I am surprised by the lack of information there is on ingredients because it uses chemicals that can be highly reactive to any type of skin, therefore, I deducted 1-star.
