The reviews complaining that it’s hard to take off are probably layering it a bunch of times. Definitely only meant to swipe it through your lashes once or twice, but I like how good it works

This is my new go-to mascara, it is the only one I have ever found that I have no raccoon eyes after a long day. It really stays where you put it, and like others have mentioned it is actually a little difficult to get off. I just gently wash my closed eyes with Purpose face soap at the end of the day and I get most of it off, I don't think a cotton round with makeup remover would get it off very well. It is absolutely a price I am willing to pay for a mascara that does not smudge at all once dry. I just use it on my natural lashes but I am sure with false lashes it is wonderful looking.When I started wearing this it was the first time in my life people started complimenting me on my lashes. I do two coats to get the maximum length out of it and it does add serious length. It looks just like the photos the others have posted, it won't make you look like you have tons of little lashes but it gives you well defined, long, curly lashes. I love this stuff so much I don't want to switch from it but I am curious to see if the NYX 'Boudoir' mascaras stay on as well and what type of looks they give. The name is spot on too, your lashes will look like an old fashion pin-up model.

I found this branch while searching for cruelty free mascara. I've bought many, many cruelty free mascara's and I can say this is my favorite so far. I have short, light, skimpy lashes. This made them long, dark, and thick. It really made my eyes pop. The wand is comfortable and the applicator brush works really well. You'll only need one application. You can apply more but its not necessary. Goes on very easily, no smearing or clumping.And no fumes to irritate sensitive eyes like mine. And, if you're like me, maybe you sometimes fall asleep without removing your makeup. If this happens you'll wake up looking like you just applied your mascara. That may be the only downfall. You really need some good makeup remover to get this off. Using regular face wash or soap and water won't do the trick. It doesn't flake so a little residual mascara after washing was not an issue for me.

This is my favorite of the NYX Mascaras. I am on my third bottle. Yup.It goes on easily, defines my lashes, doesn't leave an under-eye shadow at the end of the day. Nice volume too and well designed wand. Doesn't make me look like a drag queen or like I'm not wearing mascara. When it rubs off it'll happen in tiny balls, not smears. If that makes sense. Basically it's less obvious. Oh and it seems to stay wet in the tube WAY longer than other mascaras I've tried, including from NYX. Definitely better than Maybelline Great Lash (why has it persisted so long) and actually definitely better than all the department store mascaras I've tried except Lancome.I keep an extra in my travel cosmetics bag and wear it every day for work in a job where I need to look professional and never over the top.

I love that it lasts.. for 5 days. The brand is great and respectable but this isn't great for busy people who want to just wipe off after the end of the day. I have tried everything and still residue and eyelashes stuck :(

Doesn’t lengthen and can clump lashes together

I have a fresh tube of this stuff arriving every three months in my Subscribe & Save order. It's one of the best mascaras I've ever used & incredibly affordable. I put on a generous application in the morning, gently brush & separate my lashes with a brow comb for a natural look & it stays put all day, no smears, no smudges -- vital for me, as a massage therapist who is moving & sweating all day & still needing to look presentable to greet clients between. I've been asked more than once if I'm wearing falsies with this formula. I use a drop of olive or coconut oil on a beauty pad to remove it in the evenings & it wipes away like a dream. Five stars!

This is old school mascara, gives a nice seperated clean lash look and feels lightweight. However, its also old fashioned in that it doesn't dry fast. You have to wave air for a few minutes to set it, and if you don't it smears easily. Brush has to be turned to right direction. So this is nice mascara if you are slow and careful with makeup. If you are super fast with your routine, there are better options.

Way too wet. Made all my lashes stick together. Waste of money.

I love Nyx anything but this mascara is a tad clumpy.

It was a complete waste of money. Doesn't do anything for your lashes. Wouldn't recommend.
