Envion Ionic Pro Turbo Max Ionic Air Purifier, Black

We recently moved to a different house and because I was having problems with previous Ionic Pro purifiers crackling (even though I cleaned them regularly), I decided to purchase a different type of air purifier. Well, it did nothing to keep the air fresh. So I bought yet another Ionic Pro and plugged it in. I noticed a difference within an hour. The Ionic Pro does a much better job. I have finally figured out how to clean it better so it doesn't crackle as much. These purifiers are much better than any other purifier on the market. They are very difficult to clean, but the do a good job.

I'm a lifelong smoker, and generally smoke in my living room which is 15' x 30' x 8'. During summer the air conditioner keeps the room clear enough. During winter I sit by the fireplace and most of the smoke goes up the chimney, especially when we have a fire burning. However, when the wife is out I'll often smoke in my chair. The room gets very smoky. I picked this up about a month ago, and am impressed. I leave it in the back part of the room, turned to low, and it keeps the room clear of smoke. We also have (1) small long hair dog, (2) cats which I'm a bit allergic to, and we occasionally board animals. This does its job well. It's also totally silent even on high. A month after getting it I still haven't cleaned it yet. So I can't say if it's easy or hard. I used to have the Ionic Breeze I think it was called. It was a little bit of a hassle cleaning the fins from the tar and such, but better than buying new filters every few months. I also picked up an Oreck at one point, but didn't find that helped at all. Bottom line is that I find this does the job well. It just sits in the back of the room doing its job silently. Wouldn't even know it's there but for the blue light (which is supposed to turn red when it needs cleaning.

This thing is nothing but decoration, it doesn't seem to actually do anything whatsoever. If I had it to do over, I would buy an air filter with a replaceable filter. If you have visible dust in the air, you will still have it while this thing sits in the room, A total waste of money.

I originally gave a glowing report on this purifier, however, I've had it about 10 months, and it's started making static-like noises. Yes, I've cleaned it thoroughly, used the internal wire cleaner, and vacuumed the interior. It's still making noise. I tried contacting the company about a month ago, and haven't heard back. If the company comes through for me, I could change this rating again.

These work great. I bought one a couple of years ago when I was smoking. It really cleared the air, silently, and I had to clean it every week. I bought another for the bedroom and no more stuffed nose in the morning. I bought another for the rest of the upstairs and no spring allergies. Having moved from smoking to vaping, I only need to clean these babies once every 2-3 weeks. They are awesome.

bought this for my trailer, but eventually it came inside the house. placed along side of my cats litter box. the difference is night and day. it works. the smell before traveled through out the house. after i place the ionic pro next to it...gone. fresh air, no litter box funk. its expensive for sure. but i have owned this thing for over 8 years and its still going strong.
