Brown Royal Non-Acid Wheel

Yes it cleans wheels and anything else, but your driveway? Yes. I spilled motor oil on my driveway, leaving a 2x2 foot stain. Past experience said forget about it, you'll never get it clean, but just for the heck of it I sprayed it with straight Brown Royal to give it the ultimate test. I let it sit for ten minutes, then rinsed it with my garden hose. It came out perfectly clean. This stuff is amazing. Stinks a bit though, so be prepared for that.

Been using this product for years and can honestly say that there is no better wheel cleaner made period dot!

I used this product and I was happy with the results however I cannot say I was 100% happy with the results. Maybe it was the me or how I used the cleaner but I tried to clean the baked on brake dust on 93 Cadillac wheels. The wheels were cleaned often but they had brake dust that just would not come clean. The clearcoat is still intact but the wheels have small openings and I could not get in between them . I only used full strength. I let it sit once, scrubbed at car wash once and scrubbed then pressure washed the last time and the wheels did come a little cleaner each time but I only bought the spray bottle (should have bought a gallon) and I ran out of the product. I assumed that it would have been enough. I can’t say it didn’t work but I will say it didn’t work as well as the videos on YouTube showed it working. Overall I would say if the wheels are really dirty with baked on brake dust get a gallon or use something stronger. If your wheels are newer this is probably going to work better for you than it did for me. I will try it again but I will just get a gallon this time.

I have heard people ranting and raving about this product but upon purchase at a relatively high cost, I was left with the thought that the product had a lot to be desired. Works great for engine bays and wheel wells but for it's intended purposes, wheels and tires.. there are better options out there.

10 year old Volvo with wheels that have not been cleaned in over 3 years. Caked on brake dust, rust red in color coating the rear wheels. 3 passes with Brown Royal, light agitation with a dish brush, and they are COMPLETELY clean and gleaming alloy. Simply unbelievable, ive tried Sonax and Mother's (purchased locally) to no avail..the Brown Royal worked on the old Volvo like Easy Off does in the oven, no fuss no muss.

The product is great, works as advertised. Still requires some scrubbing depending on level of dirt. I wan planning to try to use this on paint one day, instead of ironx and trix.I knocked off 2 stars for the following reasons:1) Price. Way too expensive plus shipping costs. You should sell the 1 gallon version here and have shipping covered under prime.2) The spray bottle makes too much mist and this stuff can easily blow back in your face. This is easily fixed by getting a higher quality bottle and transfering the contents.all in all 4.5

I redo and service BMW motorcycles. This is a very good wheel cleaner. If I was going to improve it I would just make it a little bit more 'sticky' so it would sit just little longer. Not much, just a little so you don't have to do any resprayingThe only caution is to use in a well ventilated place, preferably outdoors and stay upwind.

Worked great for my aftermarket powder coated rims. Took years of brake dust off the rims with only spraying and rinsing. I have ceramic pads so unsure how it will work with semi-metallic brake pad dust. Seems to be a good heavy duty cleaner for multiple uses.
