I have a huge hanging potted plant hanging from it. It's holding well so far. I estimate that the weight of the pot after watering is about 30-40 pounds . I screwed the bracket to a 4x4 post with three inch stainless steel screws as my last curved hook from a different manufacturer broke after the head of one of the decking screws that I used broke off and allowed the weight of the plant to snap off the bracket between the screw holes. This bracket actually looks to be made from a thicker material then my previous one. My only complaint is that from the post to where the plant hangs is only 13 inches instead of 14 inches as the listing says. I put a one inch thick block of composite board between the base of the hanger and the post so I could get the plant to hang 14 inches from the post. I had originally planned to use the same block system and would have gotten my plant 15 inches from the post but that of course didn't work out as the hanger was shorter then expected. Otherwise I am quite satisfied with this attractive plant hanger.

The hook itself is nice but you will have to use your own screws because the ones that come with it are literally defective. I have never seen screws strip like this. Its like they are made of butter.

The form of the hook is outstanding, however the product has two shortcomings. First, the screws that accompany the hook are not sufficiently hardened and as result the head of the screws were easily striped. I ended up going to Lowes to purchase screws that would allow me to fasten the hook to a wooden fence post. Second, it only uses to screws to attach the hook. It would be better if the form used three hooks and ended in a cross that would provide more lateral support.

Love it! If you are looking for a plant or birdhouse hanger, this is the one to get! This is made super thick! Even with a good amount of weight, it will not bend. It comes with two screws to attach it to a wall, tree, deck or just about anything that would be a good screw anchor. Plus I love the length of it. I have had other hooks in the past, and they always allowed my plant to hit the wall. This one gives a good amount of room, so that you can hang a pretty nice sized plant and it will not rub the wall. I have to say that I am very happy with this hook! Now I just need to get another on for my other plant.Pros: super thick, will not bend, comes with screws, nice length.Cons: have not found any yet.Disclosure: I was provided with a discounted or free product for my honest review of this item. The Hand Forged Curved Hook is perfect - just what I wanted. The hook looks far more expensive than the price and it's very sturdy. I bought 2 and they look awesome - I'm using them inside my home to hang a Witches Ball (very heavy glass) in front of my windows. I like the solid black color and my husband said they were easy to install - only 2 screws which we include in the packaging. I was excited they arrived so quickly and were in perfect condition. I highly recommend them

This bracket has a classic look that would go with most decors. I installed mines on an outer railing of my deck to hang a wind chime . However once I saw how study it was I opted to use it for a hanging basket plant.I found it easy to install and it held the plant very well. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for something to give you more space to hang the things you love Outdoors or possibly inside in certain locations.

We bought a similar hook several years ago and wanted to match it as close as we could. This looked like it so we bought three. Glad we did. These are perfect for hummingbird feeders. The end is far enough away from the fence to allow the birds to fly completely around. I felt the #10 screws that came with it were a little big, so I used #8. Maybe they would be needed for heavy planters. The hooks are heavy duty and high quality workmanship. We'll be back when we need more of this type of yard accessories

I bought this to screw into a tree for my pileated and other birds tail prop suet feeder (which I also bought here). I have had something very similar, smaller size with another squirrel proof suet feeder and it is in perfect shape going on 20 years. I highly recommend this. Would also be good for a wind chime or another bird feeder or a plant.

Wirkt richtig wertig. Ich verwende den Wandhaken über meinem Grill zum halten von gusseisernen Feuertöpfen, die mit Flüssigkeit schnell einmal 20kg haben. Haken hält bombenfest. Ich habe aber Schrauben von 80mm Länge 6mm Durchmesser mit Dübel in Betonwand verwendet, Da es "nur" zwei Bohrlöcher übereinander gibt, muss die obere Schraube den ganzen Druck aushalten. Die Schraube sollte daher lang sein, damit bei Zug "verklemmt". Die beiliegenden Schrauben sind kürzer, sehen aber stabil aus. Sind wohl für Holz gedacht.Es sieht einfach sehr gut und wildromantisch aus.

Hat zwar mehr Gewicht als gedacht das war für meine Zwecke nicht nachteilig. Der hacken ist nun doch schon Regen und Sonne ausgesetzt - bis dato keine Veränderungen.

Arrived quickly. It is sturdy, nice looking and easy to install. Has withstood some very windy days.
